Four Harlem friends -- Bishop, Q, Steel and Raheem -- dabble in petty crime, but they decide to go big by knocking off a convenience store. Bishop, the magnetic leader of the group, has the gun. But Q has different aspirations. He wants to be a DJ and happens to have a gig the night of the robbery. Unfortunately for him, Bishop isn't willing to take no for answer in a game where everything's for keeps.

Not only was this movie really entertaining, but it was a raw story of how some new york teens go about wanting and having respect. It also shows how friends can backstab each other, which not only happens in new york, but happens everywhere. I could definitely relate to being from NYC. Such a good movie, I definitely recommend watching this movie.

I honestly didn't think Tupac at the end, turned into a bad guy like it really tricked you that he wouldn't be the villain but damn, he did it really really well! Too bad his character Bishop dropped dead but you know with bad guys, you do want them out of the way. Unfortunately in another 4 years time since this movie, 2pac will be shot with the guns. The shootout scenes really do make you a little sick because it does remind you of how 2Pac died. Seriously this movie was intense man, it really does show how poor black neighbourhoods are dangerous and not safe places to live in. To be honest, I honestly don't understand why people would go near the places, its just very intense. Good movie but very rough, 8/10!

This 1992 crime drama stars Omar Epps, Tupac Shakur, Jermaine Hopkins and Khalil Kain. This focuses on 4 Harlem teen buddies, Q (Epps), Bishop (Shakur), Steel (Hopkins) and Raheem (Kain) who decide to rob a convenient store one Saturday night. Things take an unexpected turn when Bishop is hooked to the thrill of the gun killing the clerk and others. Q finds himself in a nightmare when Bishop not only threatens him, but also tries pinning the murders on him. Samuel L. Jackson and Queen Latifah also appear. This is a pretty good film with some tense and humorous moments and Epps & the late, Shakur are great in it. I recommend this.

what i viewed about the movie at we just watched was good. It showed a lesson in like who is your real friends and who is your fake friends. Raheem did not deserve to die the way he did. Just because they did a rob in a store is when all of the best friends have beef now. Now that all of that bad stuff happened they became not friends against each other and had to learn to keep there mouth shut. Real friends don't kill each other they stick together through everything. I feel bad for raheem because now he is dead. Threw out the end of the movie everybody can see that it wasn't Q that killed anybody.Always watch who you trust or friends with. Its a better lesson for everybody to learn.
