This is one of the most pointless and baseless scripts I've ever seen in a movie. Whole movie is based on a flawed unrealistic logic and story.

One of the best movie of Indian cinema....... Must watch...... A great love story....Acting of Shahrukh Khan is best. Story line is great. Music of this film is very nice.... Dialogues are fantastic..... Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma's acticng is also good..... Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's small role is also good. Film's screenplay is very nice and direction of this film is great..... You did really great work Yash Chopra ji...... You will always be alive with all you great movies..... Since the release of Jab Tak Hain Jaan, I had been told to watch it. "It is such a great move, Yaar.", "Qasam se Yaar…. It is very good film.", they kept telling me, followed by consistent follow ups whether I did or not. Eventually I decided to give it a try. It was horrible.Dear Shah Rukh Khan fans, When Shah Rukh Khan is in a movie, it doesn't automatically make it a good movie. It is a fact of life that you have to deal with somehow.Adding to my shock was Katrina Kaif's performance. It was the first Katrina Kaif movie I watched, I think (unless I have seen one that was so bad that I no longer remember). She may be 'hot', if you are into that kind of thing, but as far as acting is concerned…. she is not!Read more on my blog: http://goo.gl/x2riQ6

Such a fantastic ending to Yash Chopra's illustrious career. I cannot remember a love story that I have enjoyed as much as this one. At first, it feels like just another one of those "lovey-dovey" films that have the same plot and character types and so on. But, give this a chance and you will find that it is something out of the ordinary. The plot is that's not been seen before, at least not in this fashion. I love the incorporation of memory and multiple lovers. It was so just so sweet to see belief in and love of God and family. Furthermore, the side stories were not present solely for the heck of it; they served a purpose with the main plot. There were some hitches though. For example, when they recall Samar's story it does not seem like the setting was in 2002; I was not actually aware they went that far back in time. The technology and cars was too advanced for the time period. There were also some dialogs and timeline issues that did not fit too well. But, those are some minor flaws with an otherwise terrific film. The camera work was smooth and covered all the important points (something that is ironically hard to find these days). I like how Bollywood has finally overcome its phobia of having intimate scenes on screen. There was plenty of romance and kissing for everyone to enjoy and feel more connected to the characters with. Lastly, the music was just a blast to sing and dance along to. At the end, I felt quite satisfied. I can see why this movie was such a hit. Don't miss out! Watched and written 12/03/2013.
