mystiquious

Has Antonio Banderas lost his mind? Or is he going through a mid life crisis? The movie is so stupid it's not even funny. What a waste of time. If they had added Benny Hill music I might have laughed. It's pathetic and because it is hopeless Netflix of course has added it to their ever increasing trash can of a library. Avoid it.

Everything about this quirky movie was good. I am not one to get bored but lately I have not been able to watch Hollywood movies that solely rely on CGI to get past the goal post. I'm tired of action, horror, drama and really all that LA has on offer. There are no inspiring movies to watch these days. Cheers and have an efficient day :)

An aging rock star's wife is kidnapped while vacationing in Chile. This is the 4th film that Antonio Banderas stars this year and it's without a doubt the worst of the 4 and probably a career suicide for both Banderas and Kurylenko. The jokes are terrible and not even funny, the characters and the acting is awful and what makes it even worse is the fact that the film was directed by Simon West a Director who i like in general and directed 2 great movies Con Air and The Expendables 2 and now he directed this "bomb". The film was marketed as an action, comedy but neither of those two things are in here and for some reason one of the men that kidnaps Turk's wife tries a terrible Schwarzenegger accent that never hits the mark. Overall Gun Shy is a terrible and unfunny comedy with some of the worst performances of both stars and a film that showcases the downfall of Banderas Career. (0/10)

Don't watch this movie with any expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised! Antonio Banderas plays his part well!Be sure to watch all the way to the end, like past the credits, there is a fun part... Bandarass is for sure the star in this movie - the little boy could have used more of a part, I think if they had drawn his character out a little more it could have been a more slap stick kind of comedy.
