IMDb haven't rated this movie better then its prequel " Goal- The dream begins" but i found this movie a fantastic return,Santiago Munez from a small town aspiring soccer player to a infamous football player is a journey which in a unsaid way is truly aspiring,As with fame and money comes arrogance and carelessness which takes away the sanity and innocence of true genius player..Fails to keep up with the paparazzi and further messes up with all his well wishers..With a final hooter to go loud ..Santi makes a close come back and silents his critics with a dream net hit..Beckham and Harris are always a pleasure be seen on a big screen and with no doubt makes a solid impact. All in all ..This one is surely a dream

This is not a good Football movie (Yes I said Football because thats what its called, not soccer)Generally football movies aren't good because they truly fail to capture what is so great about the game. Also I watch the Cahmpions league and many of the games from the Spanish league and it doesn't work for me when you actually know what truly happened in those games, for example Madrid lost against Arsenal, and actually didn't get that far in champions that year. I agree with what many of you have said, the film is a HUGE Adidas commercial and the fact that when the movie came out, many of the players weren't in Real Madrid anymore. and Im sorry but Owen for Muñez is not a plot twist, that actually happened, the difference is that Owen was bought by Newcastle not switched. The main problem with the movie is that if you are a true football fan you know that many of stunts pulled off in the movie could never be pulled off in real life and that is where the movie looses a lot of its credibility. The cameos of famous players were fantastic although I don't agree with the over exposure of Beckham but the other cameos are great. And trust me the third one is going to be bad the first one was not bad, the third one was bad and I truly hope the next one isn't worse than this one.

I've watched both the goal movies and what i feel is that the music doesn't give that much support to the screenplay... the music could've been a little more wild and loud... also everything becomes predictable very long before it happens... a slightly better focus could've been given to the pace of the movie....The dialogue part should've definitely been improved especially the part where santi's gf cries... the dialogue lacks a little logic.... also his little brother driving off on the lamborghini part... he is from a small poor neighbourhood and he drives a car.. i don't buy it... and he shows his middle finger to his bro... why would he do that??

There were no redeeming qualities to this sequel. The plot was poor, the dialogue awful and what was up with Kuno's accent? In the first movie he's got really no accent, he's an American. But in the second...he's got this poor accent through out the movie. The dialogue and plot were bad...but the cinematography were even worse! The editing was choppy, the football boring...there was no tension in the film...and because of how annoying Santiago has become you don't even want to root for him either.Ironically, the best acting performances came from the footballers on the field, in the training scenes and in-game footage. And who thought it was a good idea to have Nick Cannon be in this movie? And as an Englishman? For shame. Acting: Terrible. Directing: Awful. Cinematography+ Editing: Atrocious Dialogue: AmateurishAnd who thought it was smart to have the characters go in and out of Spanish...then randomly go back into English?? If you're going to bring Santiago and his mother together...why not try and make it mean something?Worthless movie. Trust me, you should avoid this if at all possible. Move right to the third movie.
