Oh boy here we go again. Even more annoying characters. The only reason Disney released this was to get the children off their lazy arses. I mean... wow... What a way to make money. Another bland special with bland jokes and one dimensional characters. Just as bad as the film. Oh boy Olaf's back to be a useless pile of H2O. Oh boy! Even after watching this I've noticed that the characters are even more annoying and stupid as they were in the original film. Even more cheap songs with lines of song from the original film. Is this literally just a copy paste film? Perhaps so... The plot: It's Anna's birthday. Thats all. Cheap plot, songs, advertising and references! All builds up to a crappy film. One thing I also hate is how they have conversations in bloody song. Probably because they can't act. Another annoying thing is how this entire bloody special is a full-blown six minute song. I kid you not. Little to no acting. Laziness. Here comes even more merchandise! And by the time of frozen 2 even more merchandise will come. It's a loophole of making money for Disney. After watching these two films I've learned that these are programming the kids literally. With awful messages and songs. This is all a trap to send kids into buying their merchandise, and it's all because something as innocent as frozen is trusted. Do not watch this film. I don't recommend it. It's not a classic nor good in any way. This film and this special is overrated, and I can't see why they make millions off of children.

I really enjoyed the movie "Frozen", so I was looking forward to this short film for a while. And while I was not totally won over by it, I was not disappointed either. The story is basically Elsa preparing the perfect birthday for her sister Anna with the help of all their friends from the feature film. And also the not-so friends appear again in this film, so that you get basically all the important characters from the film, which is always nice, even if it is just for a very short moment like the sauna owner. There is a reference to the famous song from the film as well (check my title) and in general there is at least as much singing than talking in this movie, maybe almost a bit too much for my taste. These 8 minutes have some decent comedic moments and the drama about Elsa's cold is nicely chosen, but not too severe for such a short film. What I liked most about it are all the tiny snowmen coming out of Elsa's mouth. I think it's inevitable that there will be a second "Frozen" film at some point and I hope the include them there as well. And Olaf's comment about not being able to read or spell was so random and pretty great too. So yeah, it's not a must-see (as the full feature film), but a nice little addition for everybody who enjoyed the movie. Recommended.

I was apparently one of the select few, who dozed off during Frozen, I don't know why but I fell asleep for a bit. I didn't hate it but I don't get what all the fuss is about. Anyway I went in with an open mind to see Cinderella and the short "movie" Frozen Fever. I used the quotation marks for the simple reason that I could not see Frozen Fever as anything but a commercial, a commercial for the upcoming Frozen 2 but mostly a commercial for new merchandise while we wait for the second animated film to come around. The story itself is interesting, the girl - Elsa - who has ice powers and doesn't need a coat in winter gets a cold, that can be good premise why not. But then Elsa and Anna change outfits and the sisters are basically playing with the dresses as if to show them off in the commercial, sorry the short. And it slowly becomes less and less about the story and more about the merchandising. I usually don't have a problem with making money but not if it's at the expense of good short film that could have been a lot more entertaining if it wasn't a commercial.

Elsa is preparing for Anna's birthday, but a cold sends a few things awry. "Frozen Fever" is a short opportunity for the characters to strut their stuff, especially Olaf. I understand that "Frozen 2" is currently planned, but I don't know how they would continue the story. I think that any continuation would have to come in short snippets like this one. Both Elsa and Anna have brought a more complex dimension to the world of Disney princesses. In the end, I found this to be a good short. The cast of "Frozen" returns to voice the characters and gives them real vivacity. You'll probably enjoy it.John Travolta is never going to live down that mispronunciation of Idina Menzel's name.
