I THINK THIS FILM IS A Great film! I have watched it nearly every year since I first saw it. its a great film to watch with your partner or friends its a very dark humour movie so if you get upset easily its not for you but in the end it gets sad but funny still I feel like its good film as it takes the mick out of terrorists but also show you how they think. the man talks to his man about killing himself and makes it seem like the lion king and the man believes killing himself will get him up to heaven. so all in all its a great film funny for most people and gives a great incite into the mind of someone who thinks killing themselves is a good idea.

why Islam is always labeled as terrorists ? is this fair? NO!. This is not fair!. All people of any faith, race, ethnicity, class, caste, etc, likely to be a terrorist. But of all these sensitive matters, this film tries to make the terrorists with their all actions as a joke!. In other words "laugh at terrorism act".The black comedy film from British land really "tickle " to watchVery entertaining and fresh. Enjoy.wikipedia said: A group of radicalised young British Muslim men aspire to be suicide bombers. They are Omar (Riz Ahmed), who is deeply critical of Western society and imperialism; his dim-witted friend, Waj (Kayvan Novak); Barry (Nigel Lindsay), a bad-tempered and extremely rash white convert to Islam; and the naive Faisal (Adeel Akhtar), who tries to train crows to be used as bombers. While Omar and Waj go to a terrorist training camp in Pakistan, Barry recruits a reluctant fifth member, Hassan (Arsher Ali). The visit to the training camp ends in disaster, with Omar misfiring a rocket backwards that kills fellow jihadists; however, he uses the experience to assert authority on his return to Britain. The group begins acquiring materials for making improvised explosive devices but disagree about what to target. Barry wants to bomb a local mosque as a false flag operation to "radicalise the moderates", but Omar considers this idiotic. Faisal suggests blowing up a branch of the pharmacy chain Boots, but Omar states it is a not a worthwhile target. Hassan allows an oblivious neighbour (Julia Davis) into their safe house; the group think they have been compromised and transport their volatile explosives to a new location in grocery bags. Faisal accidentally trips in a field while carrying the explosives and blows up. This causes a row among the remaining four, who disband; but they reconcile, and Omar decides to target the upcoming London Marathon.Wearing mascot costumes to conceal their explosives, they prepare to attack. Waj expresses doubts about the rectitude of the plot, but Omar convinces him to go ahead. Hassan loses his nerve and tries to alert nearby police officers, but Barry detonates his bomb using a mobile phone, killing Hassan. This causes the police to search for the remaining three.Omar realises he has led an unwitting Waj into something he does not want to do and tries to change his mind. Police attempt to shoot Omar as he mingles with other runners but, instead, shoot a bystander dressed as a Wookiee. Omar eventually contacts Waj from his mobile phone but is attacked by Barry, who swallows the phone's SIM card. However, Barry begins to choke on it, causing a passer-by to carry out the Heimlich manoeuvre and detonate his bomb.Waj is cornered by police and takes a kebab shop hostage. Omar then borrows a phone and attempts to talk him down, but his call is interrupted when the police raid the kebab shop, in which they kill a hostage whom they mistake for Waj. Confused, Waj detonates his bomb, destroying the place. Distraught, Omar walks into an empty pharmacy and blows himself up. In an epilogue, it is revealed later that the police have arrested Omar's innocent Muslim brother as a terrorist; that they deflect responsibility for shooting the bystander; and that Omar and Waj killed Osama Bin Laden when Omar misfired his rocket in Pakistan.

This has got to be one of the most messed up black comedy I have seen so far. And I have seen a lot of messed up comedies. This film has that comedic elements where they put one character in the group that has some common sense around an idiot or idiots that messes it up for the whole group or are used as a plot device to further the gag. This has been done many times in other comedies and it's a plot device that works really well in certain comedies. And for the most part it worked for this one despite it being all messed up and all. I will say I did feel a bit uncomfortable when I got a few chuckles or a laugh out of this one. Despite the offensive content because of the subject matter which revolves around a group of wannabe terrorists that are British Muslims, I found it amusing. Because of the clever scenarios and how ridiculous it is how it all played out. What I didn't like is how most of the civilians and officers give the terrorist group who a chance and treat them like human beings without coming up with assumptions or judging them because of their ethnicity. And the group uses that trust and tries to blow innocent people up regardless. When one of the members in the group gave this rap presentation in one of the scenes about stereotypes and judging someone because of their ethnicity I thought he had a point until you learn that he is actually a part of the terrorist group anyways. This can tick off a lot of viewers that are Muslims that have no intention of going through with terrorist activities or support them in anyway. The might even be Muslims that has no affiliations at all when it comes to jihadists. Benedict Cumberbatch makes a appearance in this before he got his big break as well, although it's for a short bit. When I heard about the premise of this movie, which deals with the most incompetent terrorist group ever. I thought it was going to be another "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil" which is a film that came out on the same year. But it's more like a mix between "The Dictator" and "This Is the End" except way a way lower budget. I think the reason why this comedy didn't get as much recognition is because it didn't have many well known Hollywood actors and because of the content. Although it's more of a film that mocks the terrorist than anything else.7.5/10

I got dragged to the cinema to watch this crock and boy was I not happy with it. Most of my friends were persistent in liking it but that is probably more from stubbornness than to give ground to my view in that this was some grotesque trash.Anyways I've just got home and caught the end of this trash on channel 4 before the football started and aside from some amendments to the TV product (advertising purposes), I'm still revulsed by this nasty fair. What the hell is so funny about 4 protagonists who, through the usual disillusioned tripe, want to execute innocent people? How in God's name is that funny? Oh, I know, we'll take the edge off by making sure they're morons. Does it work? Does is frank. The 4 protagonists are frightening, irrespective of their 'hilarious' incompetence.Firstly, we have Barry, a hate-filled idiot, convert, who is potentially the most horrid of the lot, who gets blown up whilst choking. Secondly, the comically lovely chap Faisal, who accidentally and 'hilariously' blows himself up. Thirdly we have Waj, who is the personification of 'who is more the fool? The fool or the fool that follows him', who blows himself up whilst asking for further instruction. Finally, we have the 'brains', Omar. What's so funny about him you ask? Absolutely nothing. The only proposed funny entry in his character is that he doesn't know how to fire the first stinger launcher that has been put in his hands. If you thought that was funny and rounded his character off then I don't feel sorry for you in the slightest and I would suggest you punch yourself in the face with a 5 iron at every opportunity, it won't make much of a difference.Omar's character is the most dangerous because this is how 'terrorists' irl work. They merge. There is nothing remotely funny about this. His wife works in a hospital and acts as a contact for him and is a fully paid up member of the psycho-squad. Too close to home? Damn right it is.I always find myself wanting to write reams, to be more comprehensive in my critique but I'm not getting paid for it so I'll leave that up to the ones that do. In short this is just not funny. Not that I'm saying you can't make this dangerous material funny but it would take far more skill than what's been illustrated here, by a long way.The only funny-ish part of the film was the marksman scene, when they get mixed up on whether or not to shoot something like a wookie or a honey-monster (something like that) but it was so out of place in the overall context of the film that it was like farting in a funeral. As for the actors, well, they did was asked, I guess. I only know of Kayvan Novak, who was brilliant, in the excellent, Sirens but I wouldn't be surprised if this tasteless trash will detract from their workability.Bad, bad, horrible.
