If anyone likes fun and intelligent movies this is for you. It about Tripp Kennedy (Patrick Dempsey), who is a very neurotic person who walks into the bank to get change (a lot of change), and meets teller Kaitlin, and notices two things: Number One: She had wedding presents with her. Two: The bank was going to be robbed. Of course, he had no idea that TWO bank robberies would occur at the same time, by two very different sets of robbers. One were Rednecks with the nicknames of "Peanut Butter & Jelly" and the other were more sophisticated robbers (One was Jewish, the other British, and the last one African American). Of course, it turns out that Tripp, is a Sherlock Holmes type genius with an incredible attention to detail. Spoilers Ahead: What he figures out is besides the Robberies, there are other crimes involved, including a plan straight out of Agatha Christie's "10 Little Indians" is to knock off everyone in the bank by the top bank robber in the Country, Vicellus Drum, and no one is exactly who and what they seem (Including Kaitlin (which he lets her know about halfway through the movie)). Of course, (spoilers ahead), Tripp does end up with Kaitlin, but how he gets there, and finding out who is really Drum, and who survives and in some cases, actually thrives (besides Tripp), are what make this movie a lot of fun. 10/10 stars.

I can't remember why I decided to give this a go, I think it was a review on IMDb so I'll return the favour:I feel that the description of the film on IMDb is off-putting: "A man caught in the middle of two simultaneous robberies at the same bank desperately tries to protect the teller with whom he's secretly in love."That makes it sound like this is just a film about a guy trying to save a girl when it's so much more than that. To describe the plot any other way would reveal an important twist though so I can understand why the description is a bit vague. What I liked about the film was that the script was really good with realistic dialogue between the characters, it was very frequently funny and often laugh-out-loud funny (especially the security guard) and all of the actors fully committed to every scene.Whilst it's an indie film, they've done the clever thing of keeping costs down by having one location but enough action, humour and occasional explosions to keep you interested as well as a mystery element to the story which you are genuinely interested in.If you liked "Foolproof" (2003) with Ryan Reynolds then you will likely really enjoy this. There are slapstick elements, clever plot devices, and some creepy humour and although I did have to ask myself a few times 'why hasn't he killed this person/these people yet', it didn't bother me too much because by then the film had already established that it wasn't going for realism but just really fun entertainment.I would recommend watching this and give it 8/10.

This film had all the ingredients and potential to be something memorable, but in the end it petered out to a rather average and predictable ending. It just felt a little bit rushed, almost like it was paced a bit too fast, and it rushed to its conclusion rather than adding a few more scenes and developing the characters and plot a bit more effectively - at times the frenetic pace of the movie literally left you trying to figure out what exactly was happening (and I don't mean in the good sense, but rather in the 'I've lost track of whose where, doing what' sense). In fact the speed at which this movie is executed is exactly why it becomes obvious that one particular character is not the bad guy - sure, the accusation is made but the editing just doesn't leave any room for audience doubt, thus causing any possible suspense to be stripped from that scene. The other area where this film falls down (and majorly so in my opinion) is with the constant f-bombs (and worse, at one point) - it is literally every second word for several of the characters, and as a result it becomes really jarring and starts to distract the viewer from the movie. I guess someone though it would add humor to the film, but in the end it actually becomes a tiring distraction. Overuse of the F word is often a sign of a lack of comedic acting ability, which is exactly the case in this movie. You'll notice that the two hillbilly bank robbers are the most comically well crafted characters in the film, and yet they use the f-word very sparingly. Both actors are comedians by nature, and their skill is what carries the performance, not a cheap recourse to excessive f-bombs.Had all the makings of a classic comedy, but in the end it just failed to launch.

I enjoyed this movie. It had a not just twisty, but twisted plot, with a neurotic man pointing out what would have eventually been obvious, but he carries the others along to the discovery of clues to what is going on, and hilariously drives the bank robbers nuts, when they are not doing that to each other. One thing that the other reviewers fail to mention is that this is a very DARK comedy. At the outset of the robbery, someone is killed, the first of many. In some ways this movie is reminiscent of the old Agatha Christie "10 Little Indians" plot line. Bodies keep cropping up, so this is also a murder mystery. Do keep your suspension of disbelief topped off, because you will need it. No outside response to multiple explosions and gunfire is not adequately explained. (And then there's...well, you'll see.) But if you can manage to just go with it, this movie can be very funny. Many lose ends left hanging, but who cares....
