Filmmaker Robin Benger covered 14 wars in 24 countries as a veteran TV producer but nothing prepared him for the discovery that war was being waged in the basement of his own home. He discovered that "first person shooter" games, and violence-centred gaming, are taking over as the entertainment of choice for a whole generation of (mostly) teenage males. Entering into that world, he began filming in cyber-cafes, games manufacturers‚ conventions, and mega gaming tournaments, even tracking down the designer of the very game causing him so much friction with his own son.

This documentary was a waste because in the end Griffen "shaGuar" Benger ends up dropping out of school and becoming a pro counter-strike player and has won major competitions with many major USA and international teams such as NoA,zEx and is a recent addition to the U.S. powerhouse team 3D and has won a fair share of respect from his parents and the gaming community. In this documentary it makes it look like gamers are totally obsessed with counter-strike as some may be however many pro gamers do this as a side job while doing college as what many other college students do except that they are playing video games for money and I doubt anyone would turn a opportunity like that down. Teams like compLexity have already given their team players yearly salaries for their duties and i will not be surprised if E-sports gets picked up in the next few year.... If fishing and eating contests are put on ESPN there is no reason E-sports shouldn't.
