Dog Days was alright, a few moments that were funny. I felt like the movie centered more around relationships than dogs. This shouldn't be PG at all, even though there's only a few things that were Innapropiate, the movie couldn't done without it.

'DOG DAYS': One and a Half Stars (Out of Five)A comedy about various dog owners living in Los Angeles, and their relationships with each other as well as their dogs. It's mostly about the humans though, sadly. The film was directed by actor turned filmmaker Ken Marino, it was written by Elissa Matsueda and Erica Oyama, and it stars Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Rob Corddry, Jon Bass, Finn Wolfhard, Thomas Lennon, Eva Langoria and many others. It's gotten mixed reviews from critics, and I mostly hated it. I'm a dog lover (and animal loving vegan), and I could never respect a film like this. It's so dull, cheesy, and poorly written. I expect so much more from Ken Marino as a filmmaker too. If they only would have made it mostly about the dogs instead!

This was such a fun heartfelt movie! It was so nice to take my older kids to a movie that was just nice and not full of junk. A few words here and there but nothing major. Some great comedic moments for adults and plenty for all ages. I would recommend ages 10 and up in order to get the comedy and story line. The acting of the main characters was excellent. Many familiar faces too! We all really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.

At the beginning of the movie I wasn't sure if I would like it, but the more I watched it I truly enjoyed it... the storylines were good and parts of it were both happy and sad.. the ending was happy, the dogs were adorable, I loved every dog in the movie.. it's a cute confection type of movie, not intense at all, which I liked about it.
