Seriously?!?! It absolutely blows my mind that any socially adjusted person would think this movie was good. If this movie moved you or renewed your faith in anyway you mustn't have had very much to begin with.As a Christian, I deem this movie bad and Tim Chey should feel bad. I think this movie actually indirectly mocks God or Christians or both and probably pushes people away from Christianity.Good Job Tim Chey, you may have created a new meaning to the term unprofitable servant.May God have mercy on your soul

I never seen a worst movie. I wasn't sure this movie is for real. I don't know how to call this. People who rate this over 3 surely have a problem. The talking is repeated, the movement of characters is non-sense, the final battle is a joke. If this is supposed to be some kind of a parody, then it has 2 or 3 hilarious moments. But this is a movie for real. Yes, it is about God and faith, but even God will hate this film. A 10 year old kid can make a better movie. The characters playing was not bad, but the lines given to them are pathetic. And it is the same dialogue and scenes repeated over and over again. Even the music of this is dull and annoying. But you should see this movie, because it is something that you will never see in your life: the worst movie ever. And it is fascinating in this way.

I watched this film last night having been encouraged by the first 6 or 7 very positive reviews on this site and did not notice the fairly low rating. I read a few more reviews this morning and all became clear. This film is absolutely dire on every level. The acting, direction, music and cinematography were third rate. The casting and costumes were laughable as others have said. If you read the account of the battle between the Israelites and Philistines in Samuel 1, you will see that it is not biblically accurate as some reviewers claim and in historical terms it is little more than a joke. What I simply cannot understand is how some reviewers see this film as in some way extolling the virtues of Christianity and reinforcing their belief in a Christian God. The legend of David and Goliath (it is really no more than that) has nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity. David was a Jew and Goliath a believer in Baal (sometimes called Baal-Zebub - get the picture?) and dozens of other gods and most biblical scholars agree that the event itself never took place but it is simply a parable of the triumph of monotheism over polytheism. There is plenty of archaeological evidence to suggest there was a major battle between the Israelites and the Philistines at the end of the ninth century BC as a result of which the Philistine capital Gath was plundered and destroyed. But this happened nearly a thousand years before Jesus was born so where can the connection possibly be? How can David be championing Christian principles a millennium before their originator was supposedly born? What then is this film actually about? Beats me.
