This movie is a proof that you can make a good film with minimal means - what is important is the right idea, good script, good actress. The audience creates suspense in their heads. This suspense thriller was more interesting than many movies with lots of actors and special effects and fancy sets that I have seen. I think it was because the psychological suspense and protagonists duel with unknown antagonist was so well created. And Maisie Williams did a very good job carrying the movie all by herself. I remember there was once a film with similar idea, phone booth, with Colin Farrell in the main role - but I liked this film much more. And the film had some good messages too.

Online bullying and trolling is a fact of life modern life. This very website as its fair share of trolls. The impact of cyberbullying is worse with the young.Casey (Maisie Williams) loves to be online chatting with her friends. She gets badmouthed on social media by her ex boyfriend that she is on anti depressants. She gets a friend to hack into his account and spread the word that he is impotent. However Casey realises later that the online friend is an impostor and she is having a typed exchange with him and he hacked into her digital life and threatening to impose some revealing photos of her.The reason why Casey is being targeted is because she is a cyberbully and went out of her way to mock an awkward girl called Jen who used to post videos of her singing badly. The bullying escalated where Jen self harmed and eventually died.We never find out who the impostor was. Casey realises she needs to take back control of her life. The one hour drama has a low budget creepy horror feel about it. A young teenager, no worse or better than other similar teenagers falls victim to an anonymous bully who classifies himself as an avenger. Maybe the moralising was a bit heavy handed and it was rather predictable, I think we all guessed the fate of Jen.

See, indie movies fall under two categories: artsy, preachy, and empty or interesting, cool and fulfilling. Cyberbully is under the second category. See the reason is because this movie actually understands the issue its addressing unlike the other Cyberbullying movie that I can't stand, and not only that but the entire movie is set inside one room, with one actress: Maisie Williams, who gives a fantastic performance! Gripping, interesting, and an overall good film, and best of all shines a good light on its issue. Its a shame Ms Williams is not in more films because she is a great actress, especially here. In this movie, she talks to a computer program for most of it, and its a very impressive performance. So watch it, but you need to be mature to watch it, a boat ton of cursing lies ahead, but also a well written script.

So where to begin? There are a few bully movies out there but this is mostly just about internet bully and only takes place in 1 room.Everything about this movie is just right. Except that i think it was too short. The actress did a very good job in this movie also the way this movie was built is incredibly well made.I don't want to spoil anything really or say too much. I think this movie should be seen by everyone teenager out there. Just to see what could happen if you are not careful out there.
