All i can say about Beyond Skyline is not bad for a sequel to a movie releases seven years ago that nobody want except for the fan and it even better than before with a new director and a impressive cast from both the East and the West.Beyond Skyline take place right after the first one with a new main character Frank Grillo and although the movie is very genetic Frank and Iko Uwais make it as entertaining as possible with the highlight in the third arc where the alien get a real good ass kicking. This movie don't make back any money at the box office so i doubt there will be Skyline 3 but look at how we got Beyond Skyline only time will tell

I had fun watching this and it was easy to get through, so 2 pluses for me right there. This movie reminded me of old sci fi b movies where aliens would run around disintegrating people. In this case they suck you up and scoop out your brain. I think this would have been way higher in ratings for me if they hadn't tried to take themselves as seriously as they did and camped it up a bit more, maybe with some cheesy one liners or something. For the budget this movie looks pretty good. You can tell they are wearing rubber suits (specially after watching the bloops at the end).Acting wasn't awful and was fairly believable in most parts. There is a scene where a baby grows from magic alien science powers, it would have been funny for the characters to point that out like, well how did her clothes grow or something. I watched The Cloverfield Paradox recently and compared to this movie Skyline is so much more enjoyable to watch (wanted to love Cloverfield just couldn't hope you understand).Don't shy away, if you like the first one you will like this one too. This movie has it all, aliens sucking up humans to harvest brains, kung fu, hot chicks (no nudity sorry), slposions, a bit of gore (not as much as you might think, that stuff costs money people), bullets flying and lots of ass kicking.

Apparently there was another Skyline but I didn't see it and this movie certainly doesn't entice me to either. It seemed very much like a SYFY channel movie of the week. The plot was barely more than aliens invading so fight, fight, fight and stay alive and oh, we have this weird little alien-altered girl we don't know what to do with who went from infant to 6 years old during the main story line. Then right before the closing credits we jump 10 years into the future to see her leading an armada to defeat the invaders.Aside from that, the out takes at the end were fabulous.

The end bloopers made up for the bad writing, the acting was good enough, I just wonder how a subway technician becomes an expert fighter and weapons handler. It had an intriguing premise.
