Anyone who is a fan of intelligent horror/thriller will enjoy this. Jessie Buckley is amazing in this and I will be looking forward to her future work.FWIW, I also loved Witch and Wake Wood which were also badly trolled.

This film is very sound technically, with cinematography being a particularly strong point. I felt as if I knew where the plot was going pretty early on, and this frustrated me a bit. However, the story was compelling and interesting enough that I was suitably captivated throughout. A genuinely interesting and disturbingly dark take on the classic romantic narrative.

There were a couple of minor points in the movie where the plot did not seem to hold together, but all together the movie managed to present a very powerful story on a way that definitely got me thinking. I'm very glad I saw this movie.
