Badass Monster Killer Trailers

On the trashy side of Camaroville, there's a mob turf war going down, but the new gang in town ain't content with merely controlling the local dope and sex trade. They are also mixed up with dangerous black magic, intent on resurrecting hideous demon-gods who have waited centuries for the chance to eat all our souls and enslave mankind! These blasphemous bad guys need stopping, and Jimmy Chevelle, agent of The Department of Supernatural Security, is just the cat to do the stopping

This movie is a total piece of crap. All the other reviewers are lying because they had a part in making it.Every person involved this trash should be deeply ashamed. If I helped get this movie made, I would cry myself to sleep each night and engage in various forms of self mutilation each morning.Don't believe anything that other guy said. He must have worked on the film. Everything he wrote is a total lie. This movie is worthless. If you like it, you're stupid. It's not even so good it's bad. It's just all bad all the time. This movie should be used as an enhanced interrogation technique in CIA black sites.

Jimmy Chevelle (Jawara Duncan) is a top secret diabolical supernatural hunter in Camaroville. He encounters various monsters while hunting down the Knights of Chaos poised on resurrecting a demon. The film was shot on green screen so they managed to create a wonderful surreal background. The campy monsters were fairy decent, except for that first one which look liked awkward rubber extensions. The plot was blah. The music was hit and miss and played too loud in some of the scenes. The acting was campy by design, but where the filmed failed was dialogue. There were zero clever lines that caught my attention. Instead it was attempts at being funny that failed. Perhaps a younger audience would enjoy this film. It is a shame that they wasted all the effort on a bad script with a director that didn't seem to know what he was doing.Guide: F-word. Plenty of topless dancers.

BADASS MONSTER KILLER is an open spoof/homage to the monster movies of old, loaded down with CGI effects and shot on a cheap-looking green screen throughout to allow for a variety of backgrounds. The revenge-style narrative is familiar to any fan of the genre, while the film noir stylistics allow for a visually creative and colourful production. As for the humour, it occasionally hits the mark but it does miss more often than not and I found it all a bit tiresome before long, unlike something such as the masterful KUNG FURY.

The Sacramento-based production company responsible for the long-running "Trash Film Orgy" delivers a love letter to fans of the campy grindhouse subgenres so often featured there.A fun blend of Blaxsploitation and Cultsploitation, this new take on a classic mythos will leave you hypnotized and entertained. From start to finish, Badass Monster Killer immerses you in the "red-light dystopia" of Camaroville-- a veritable rat's nest of crime and sleaze, hinting at a very dark, sinister, and unknown past. Jimmy Chevelle and Reverend Dellamorte serve as playful nods to the tropes most associated with their roles, and the unlikely interplay between these two archetypes is that of a refreshing originality.Though it draws much from camp, Badass Monster Killer stands on its own as a movie. The story defies expectations one might otherwise place on works of similar influence. We are taken along with Jimmy around corners and through a looking glass while investigating and putting a stop to funky supernatural horrors. The practical effects along with tasteful CGI are excellent, and the original score is itself a work of art that combines with the visuals to create a unique experience.Badass Monster Killer is a new standard for how far a low budget can be stretched, and everyone involved with the production clearly loved what they were doing. This is one of the best movie experiences I've had, and since DVDs were available at the premiere I've gone back and watched it multiple times. This movie makes me proud to be from Sacramento and it gets a 10.
