Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the duo find themselves in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy.......After the mentally exhausting Infinity War, it was a good choice for Marvel to release the Ant-Man sequel. Ant-Man clearly is the most tongue in cheek character of the MCU, and in turn, also makes him one of the most human, holistic characters they have in the MCU.Rudd again excels as Lang, so easy to watch, so relatable, alongside Hawkeye, he has the most to lose from a Nuclear family point of view, so even though the film could be classed as a big sigh of relief for the MCU, Lang's quest is still as urgent as any other hero.Although Rudd is hilarious with Pená and friends, and shares some great chemistry with The FBI agent whom is trying to catch him out (their scenes together are the best thing about the film), it's Douglas who steals the film from everyone. He's the funniest thing in the film, delivering line after hilarious line in a dead pan way that's not just hilarious at times, but utterly convincing to the point that you really believe that he is moving a building like a piece of luggage.Set pieces are a little sparse in this, with two really only standing out, but as before, they are inventive and with involving multiple characters, makes it as funny as the first. My only gripe are the antagonists. Goggins is a great character actor, but here he's resorting to Sam Rockwell in Iron Man 2. And the less said about The Ghost, the better. It's a waste of a character, and only seems to be here so Pfeiffer has something to do. Other than that, it's such a fun sequel, with lots of great characters, but maybe it's because it's followed two of the best Marvel films released, it just feels a little lost. But then, there's the Mid-Credit stinger, and in my opinion, it's the best stinger Marvel has done. Which more than makes up for Stan Lees cameo....

Doesn't have the same fun heist feel as the original, but consider this: 1. More Cassie 2. Academic rivalries turned subplot 3. More Michael Peña narration scenes 4. Evangeline Lilly buff & hot 5. Paul Rudd good dad 6. Michael Douglas better dad now 7. Janet Van Dyne!!!!!! 8. Still some amount of ants 9. Continued good use of the interesting action scene possibilities granted by the Pym particles 10. Michelle Pfeiffer 11. Maybe not the best developed plot, but you're at a Marvel movie. You're not here for a holeless plot. You saw Thanos destroy half the life in the universe in the name of resource management. You're here for ants, and they're here for you. Have some fun while you're at it. 12. I'm never driving in San Francisco, ever Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

Not good, not bad. Your kids will love it. I thought it was mediocre cash grab. Adds nothing to the mcu.

Armed with a good script ant man and the wasp gambles with the idea of a sequel to the Ant man (2015) , with the first movie amassing positive critic reviews and box office success naturally the jinx shadows a sequel. the ant man and the wasp team seem to broken Jinx effect of sequels not standing up to the original movie. The script is very well written with a prime focus on character development and tons of humour. If you are a fan michael pena ,u will absolutely love him in this character,he is a capable actor with accolades for roles in drama and comic category. Paul rudd seems to have gotten into the roots of the character for ant man ,he is the perfect choice to play a washed up dad trying to save the world .evangeline lily brings in the charm and great acting to the movie. there are a lot of characters adding up to the humour quotient for the movie, the Movie doesn take itself too seriously and gives the audience a smart, funny and visual treat. walton, bobby cannavale, judy,T.I ,dastmalachian all do justice to their roles. although we see very less of them. douglas, fishbourne, pfeiffer they are good actors who withstand the test of time and the script. the score is fast paced and fits the pacing of the movie. peyton reed has justified the slow start if the movie with a lot of action nd humour. once again the protogonist back story and character development is underwhelming. ghost screentime is minimalist and is forgettable. this movie is meant for audience of all age groups, children will love the speciall effects and the adventure while the adults can also enjoy the hunour and great story telling. this is movie for family and fans over a long weekend. go for it.
