This Movie Is Lacking In Everything Writing,Story,Animation,Characters The Only Reason That Billy And All The Characthers Are The Stupidest And Weakest Part Of The Movie Is Because That Little Kids Can Laugh . This Movie Is Not Worth A Single Penny Go Watch Shaun The Sheep Movie Even Though That Was Terrible It At Least Has Great Animation . Heres How It Should Have Ended As This Billy Tells The Other People New People Came They Get Their Water Back And That's It But He Says The Worst Line Of All Time After Angie Tells Him Where The Water Is He Says From 100 Miles Away That He Can Get It With His Drum Billy Is A Terrible Character Because Every Scene He Is In Is Terrible Not Because Of Him It's Because Of The Lack Of Effort While I Apprecate The Unique Voice Of James Corden Even Though He Sounds Nothing Like His Usal One Far From It But Sometimes It Can Be Aggravating . And Did I Mention The Plot Holes And Questions In This Movie Another Disadvantage Of Being Stupid Is Leaving The Audience With Plot Holes And Questions In Animals United Though There Are At Least 1,100 Plot Holes And Questions . There Is This One Scene Which Billy Is Getting Water And Then A Buffalo Makes Sounds When He Takes A Couple Steps But Then When He Sees Billy He Doesn't Take Any Sound Same With The Rhino Because Reasons . Then When Billy Gets To The Water Place He Somehow Manages To Find Out That Both Of Them Were There For Reasons . So After All That Let's Finish This The Characters,Writing,Plot, And Every Thing Is Terrible That's Why It Gets A 1/10 I Feel Bad For Everybody Behind This Because In The First Day Of Doing This They Probably Fell Asleep . The Other Characters I Also Fell Bad For Europe For the People That Dragged Their Kids For This Movie. Heck Even By The Trailer Kids Weren't Interested At All . And The Scene With Billy , The Rhino And The Buffalo Isn't Funny At All Where By The First 15 Minutes You Will Sleep I Challenge Anyone Who Is Reading This Review To Watch It And Also Not Go To Sleep In The First 15 Minutes And Also Review Because I Bet You Will Be So Silent As A Rock The Tasmanian Devil's Is Absolutely Worthless To The Plot The Writing Is Messy And All Over The Place That Includes Effort ,Story ,Plot Holes And Do I Have Say Again How This Has NO EFFORT!!!!!!!!!!! The Characters Are Dull, Stupid , Humorless, And Even Have No Point Or Reason To Be In The Plot Let Alone Be In The Movie. If You Want The Opposite Of Animals United Watch Every Animated Movie But Food-fight , The Titanic Animated Movie And A Couple More It Has The Most Weakest Message And Plot That I Don't Even Think They Are Writers . Before I End This Review I Need To Say Why Does This Movie Have Useless 90's Songs It's Was 2010 WHEN THIS WAS RELEASED And Two Why Does This Movie Have A 25% On Rotten Tomatoes Even Transformers 2 And 4 Are Lower With 19 And 18% And I'd Never Thought I'd Say This But The Only Reason I Could Give It A 1/10 Is Because I Couldn't Give 0 Whatever You Want To Do Get It And Either Burn It Throw It In The Trash Or Just Destroy ItThat's Why This Movie Gets 1/10The Movie Doesn't Even Have One Good Laugh The Effort Is Absent Here And The Animation Tries But Fails The Only Person Who Tried To Get Effort Was James Corden But His Character Failed At Every Single Level The Only Like-Able Characters Is Toby And Junior Even Though Junior Appears In 1/5 Of The Movie And Toby Is A bit Of A Australian Stereo-Type And The Animation Is MediocreTo Sum It Is One Of The Worst Movies Of All Time And Some People Like IT

"Die Konferenz der Tiere" or "Animals United" is an animated film directed by Reinhard Klooss and Holger Tappe. They are joined by writer Oliver Huzly and these three also worked on new version of Urmel movies (Augsburg Puppenkiste) before this film. It is about a group of wild animals including meerkats, turtles, rhinos, monkeys, giraffes, a cock and many more who struggle due to lack of water. This is the central plot, but I felt the film succeeded much more with its sub-plots. I thought the two old turtles were the highlight of the film. The scenes with their deaths and the comets was just amazingly sad. And the voices fit them nicely too. I also liked the monkey who sort-of was with the humans initially. I did not really like the cock, even if I love Christoph Maria Herbst and I could have done without this character. In general, occasionally, it felt as if the movie could have been better if they had simply included less animal characters and maybe elaborated a bit more on these. The small background stories did not work so well for everybody as they did with the turtles. For example, the whole rhino-buffalo fight did nothing really for me.I did not know too many from the voice cast, really only Kalkofe and Herbst (Wixxxer reunion) and I think I heard about Fritsch too in the past. The English dub has the great Stephen Fry which should be reason enough for you to watch it if you're American or British. The father-son relationship between the meerkats was a great idea and I wish they elaborated a bit more on it, maybe by telling us about the two and how they lived together in the past. When the young meerkat is happy in the end that daddy saved the day it felt a bit out of place. Such a shame they did not develop this idea further. It could have lifted the film up a lot. The insect plague at some point almost had something biblical just like the whole animal gathering scenes and how they stayed in peace with each other for a while to find a solution to their thirst problem. The march to the UN building was okay as well.I think as a whole this film may be more suitable for younger audiences, but I believe thanks to its morale it can also make a good watch for adults who like animated movies. I don't think it is half as bad as some people say it is. Some animals were more interesting than others sure, but there were no extremely negative standouts and same goes for the animation. German singer Xavier Naidoo does a good song for the closing credits, but I am a bit biased here I guess as I like his voice in general. I thought the song fit the film nicely. On a completely random note, the final scene at the closing credits with the mole reminded me a bit of the same from "Monsters University". Anyway, solid movie. Recommended.

I truly agree with most of the reviewers for this Movie who have given low scores. I can't imagine what people were watching that gave anything more than 1 point... and I only give that because I can't give a zero.Like one other reviewer, I had to create a login just to warn people of how bad this is.I had my doubts the very moment the Lion spoke. English accents just don't seem to work - but thats another story. The plot jumps around, and it totally meaningless in some areas. - like you see several short plots of animals, and then somehow, they are all in a tub in the sea.The people responsible for this should give up their chosen career because they clearly suck. This movie is not even worth renting, and I am saying this as I rented this from Blockbuster for ONE POUND..... and I had to create a login just to vent my anger...... really, thats how bad it is.

Un-factual and full of ridiculous accusations. Essentially, Humans are evil and trying to takeover the world and destroy all animals... what a load of crap. The animals are looking for water because a dam has been built... Random animals from around the earth who are suffering because of the evil humans inadvertently happen to gather on the same continent. Add in the scenes of spewing exhaust and oil tanker spills - that supposedly have covered the earth... makes humans evil buffet eating mongrels. Oh but the kid in the movie is saving them all... then the animals show up in the cities to "make us accountable for our actions" ???? Oh but the Koala knockin one back in the pub is fine... even funny? We continued to watch it with our kids so we could have a discussion about propaganda films and rhetoric. Animals partying around the waterhole is no more factual than the propaganda infused in this film. This film is a detriment to true environmental responsibility. Crack pot environmentalism like this does nothing to support true environmental needs of our earth. Otherwise, a complete waste of animation time... Reinhard needs a new job...
