With high school a distant memory, Jim and Michelle are getting married — and in a hurry, since Jim's grandmother is sick and wants to see him walk down the aisle — prompting Stifler to throw the ultimate bachelor party. And Jim's dad is reliable as ever, doling out advice no one wants to hear.

This is another entry in the "American Pie" series, but they decided to just ditch the "American Pie" title. I admit that this isn't the funniest of movies and some of the humor is pretty low brow. I think the "American Pie" films are just fine. The best thing is probably how the main character reminds me of myself. There's this one part where he's talking about this friend of his (Stifler) who frequently says the f-word. I can see myself in that scenario. It seems there were a lot of real foul mouthed people in Middle School. I felt like the only one who didn't swear. Anyway, the likeability of the main character is what makes this movie enjoyable. I really even find myself liking the Stifler character a lot more. He really does go through character development. I like seeing a relationship build up over several movies into a full blown wedding. ***

If you want to watch a film that is funny and has a feel good vibe to it then this is the one. There is a tiny hint of seriousness to it as well which combines well. Jim is basically getting married to Michelle and the wedding planning is on but of course there are a few hiccups. The funniest character in this film is Stiffler and he really makes the film to be honest. Especially the dance scene in the night club. (Enough said) Finch and Stiffler renew there rivalry and Jim makes a fool of himself on a few occasions. There are plenty of funny moments in this film and I highly recommend.

I really like this movie. The third installment from the American Pie franchise, the real ones anyway, not like The Naked Mile, is so witty and funny. It's nice to see the characters you've grown attached to, moving on with life. And what shows moving on with life better, than a wedding? It's nice to see the last movie in the series, go out with such a bang. Even though American Reunion happened in the last few years, I will always count this movie to be the end of the American Pie trilogy, and American Reunion, the beginning of a reboot. The beginning is so funny, Michelle going underneath the dinner table to give Jim some early dessert. Priceless.Overall, I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

Yeah, so if you liked the first two as much as I did, you'll probably fin this movie fun and entertaining. Here's the thing though, it's not really an AP movie. The movie isn't about bro-mance, and it's not even REALLY about Jim, Keven, Chris, and Finch, it's about Stiffler. You can say whatever you want about how it's the wedding of Jim and Michele so it's about them but it's not. The majority of screen time is given to Stiffler and his antics which is too bad, because Sean William Scott can't carry a movie very well, and he because old and annoying quickly. This being said the movie has a lot of laughs, a lot of heart, and, yes, bestiality jokes. The main problem is that it is not original, or even really an AP movie. American Wedding is pretty much a slightly raunchier rom-com. I was let down a great deal by this movie, even though I liked it. I'm a huge Alyson Hannigan fan, so I was excited to see her as a lead, and had she have ACTUALLY been the lead, alongside Jason Biggs, the movie would have been much better. It's also not really an AP movie because it's not a bromance, and where the heck is Chris?! So yeah, watch it and enjoy it if you like the first two AP's, but don't expect anything as good as the first two. Basically, it should have been a bromantic comedy not a romantic comedy, and it's American Wedding, not American Stiffler.
