What did you know, there is a decent Bigfoot horror film out there! It's a horror comedy and, while it's not great at either, it's perfectly decent in both aspects. Matt McCoy (a familiar face who may be most famous for playing former mental patient Lloyd Braun on Seinfeld) became paralyzed after a rock climbing accident. While spending some time in a cabin with his jerky nurse (Christien Tinsley), he observes some weird goings-on in the forest next to his house. Soon he catches sight of a sasquatch, and it starts terrorizing the sorority girls next door. So, yeah, it's Rear Window meets Bigfoot with a little bit of a Sorority House Massacre thrown in. And it's a lot of fun! Jeffrey Combs and Lance Henriksen also pop up as a couple of Bigfoot hunters, and Paul Gleason (the principal from The Breakfast Club) and Phil Morris (who also had a recurring role on Seinfeld as lawyer Jackie Chiles) play a couple of cops. The sasquatch costume is particularly laughable, but it's funny. I don't know if they decided on horror comedy before or after they got their costume from the designer.

I have always seen this in the shop and I never picked up before as I thought it sound like and looked like a really bad b-movie.I found this B-movie really enjoyable, the acting is not that good, however it fit in.There were some really good scare moments, that worked really well, As I did not expect ar all.I wish they showed the Bigfoot a bit less, the parts of the movie see parts of him, found it be little scary, when we finally see the whole Bigfoot. It's was too bad, i found it little to goofy and not scary. they could of made him look a lot more scary.Harry looks more scary this Bigfoot and I love Harry Hendderson 6 out of 10 good b-movie

I bought this one for the dvdcover which shows a scarier monster than is actually in the film and that is my only negative comment : the monster's face. It was almost laughable and thats a shame because this low-budget movie is well-made, it makes me wonder what the director could do with a bigger budget. Protagonist Matt McCoy is one of those actors you've seen before but you can't seem the recall from what movie, anyway he's good in this one, putting him in a wheelchair was a good move as it restricts his movements and creates a tension when the monster comes into view. I won't go into much detail, the other characters aren't worth mentioning (the male nurse is annoying), there is some nudity, a big monster, not too much gore and some cliché characters. All in all, 90 minutes well spend but Harry & the Hendersons is still my favorite Sasquatch movie.

An entertaining, modestly budgeted B-movie about that infamous Sasquatch/Bigfoot creature roaming the woods, somewhere up there. Nothing really innovating, of course, but the important thing is that this indie-film has its heart at the right place. The creature is just a (very big) man but in a rather impressive hairy monster-suit. It's got a really big, fiercely mouth with a whole lot of pointy teeth in it, though his red eyes might have you chuckle a bit. Another natural ingredient in these type of movies (and the filmmakers know it) comes in the shape of Tiffany Shepis, generously showing all of her skin in a shower-scene. Adding a protagonist that's wheelchair-bound was also a nice angle (though done before, of course, with him not being able to leave the house while he's witnessing all the gruesome goings-on through his binoculars). Add a little bit of gore here & there and an end-shot that you just need to have in a movie like this, and you basically have a winner of a creature feature. Certainly one of the more entertaining movies about Abominable Snowbeasts and such, very likely also because this one doesn't take itself too serious. Lance Henriksen and Jeffrey Combs have fun cameos in it too.
