I can only recommend this movie to those who like drama. The acting are good, the cast are perfect. Okay, I maybe a bit over the moon, but seriously the plot is great and unlike most drama, there is no unnecessary scene in this movie. I am a 40 years old male and usually into horror, yet I could not stop watching this movie and tried to comment here 3:30 in the morning.I was wishing that the ending could be different, but for the perfectness of the movie, it just has to end the way it is. This movie shows that great movie is about great plot, cast with chemistry and beautiful scene. A great movies does not necessary big budget Peter Jackson's CGI action. Wish people can make more movie like this.Warning: This is not another teenager love movie.

Millionaire's First Love is a movie about a High School student that must fulfill a contract clause in order to obtain his inheritance. He was sent to a rural High School to change his ways and live like an normal person would. In the process, he meets a girl with whom he falls in love with. The film works on the story of change that Jae Kyung, the millionaire, has to undergo. The film works well with the mix of drama and comedy. Aside from that, it adds romance in the process. What makes this film atypical as compared to the other films. I think that the film works on how it tells its story. It generates the viewers interest and the actors and actresses are effective in generating sympathy for the characters they portray. In the end, it works wonders despite the fact that it employs formula that are used before in other films. Credit that to the participants of the film. It may not be a masterpiece but the subject of change has always been familiar for many movie themes and it attracts various people from different age groups and culture. Although I personally do believe that there are many better films than this and it is not a masterpiece like other Asian films like My Sassy Girl,Oldboy and Infernal Affairs, I still consider this a must-see. It is highly recommended. A 9/10 rating is fair.

"A Millionaire's First Love". Sounds sort of cheesy, right? That's what I was thinking when I friend recommend that I watch this movie. I've never really been into that whole "forgein" movie cliché, even though most of my friends are die-hard "My Sassy Girl" fans and can't go a day without watching at least 5 episodes of Fruits Basket. When I sat down to watch the DVD, it was 11:00 PM, and I'll admit, I was sort of putting off watching the movie- I just didn't feel like going through the headache of watching the film and reading the subs at the same time. The first 30 minutes into the film, I became engrossed- the arrogant- yet hot- rich boy made me want to slap some sense into him and kiss his cheek at the same time. When Eue was introduced, I immediately fell in love with how cute and sweet she was. The acting was believable, and the process of Jae and Eue falling in love left me feeling melt-y and gooey inside. In my head, I pictured a happy ending, with a wedding and flowers and happy little animals everywhere, like something out of a Disney movie. So when the course of the movie was altered when Eue admitted that being with Jae made her heart condition worse, the tears started flowing. It was so sudden- one minute, I'm just watching a sweet movie about love, and the next moment, I'm crying so hard I'm starting to heave. I didn't notice I was crying until the very end, when Jae is at the graduation ceremony, and in Eue's chair, lays a bunch of flowers. I've never cried so hard during a movie, except during the Titanic, and sometimes even then do I finish the movie dried-eyed. This movie is defiantly for the romantic-at-heart. Since watching this movie, I've gone on seeing such movies as "My Sassy Girl" and "200 Pounds Beauty". I will always love this movie, and recommend to everyone. I must admit, that sometimes, when I'm alone in my apartment, I'll pop in Millionaire's First Love, and cry and laugh and stare-longly-at-Jae to my heart's content, but the first experience of watching this movie will always be the best and most unique.
