It seems to me that the vast majority of the so-called 'reviews' of this movie are people just 'having a go' at Christians - little wonder that Islam Is taking over the world while ever people from Christian countries attack their own faith!Why can't people rate this Movie on It's acting,special effects and photography Instead of using It as an excuse to attack Christians? Considering the relatively tiny budget of just £250k, this Isn't a bad job at all. Of course It's far fetched - but people love films like The Matrix,Mars attacks and similar stuff which are laughably stupid and unbelievable - but entertaining despite that.There's a lot of hypocrites about,In other words. The special effects are good - again,considering the budget - and Cliff De Young Is a damn good actor, just take a look at the many films he's been In! Okay,so the films premise Is silly,but as I say, most of the highest-rated movies of all time have a ridiculous and unbelievable storyline. The many Christian churches - Protestantism,Catholicism,Baptists,Wesleyan,Coptic,Orthodox,Mormons, witnesses and hundreds more - serve only to confuse the Issue. All organised religion Is false - Jesus tells us himself through Matthew In the new testament that those who pray In churches are Hypocrites - one should pray alone,In private,In ones 'chamber'(bedroom or other private place).Reading the book of Matthew reveals the one truth about Christianity - be good,be nice to people,pray for forgiveness of your sins each day - and THAT'S IT! Remember - MEN have created organised religion\churches, NOT Jesus! Neither did Jesus suggest as much - as he himself said,those who attend church expecting to be 'forgiven' have already blown their chance of redemption,likewise those who give 'charity' by having their picture taken whilst handing over those big cardboard cheques will be shunned by God - Alms(charity) should be given In private,known only to the giver,the receiver and God. Jesus makes It absolutely clear In Matthew that ones relationship with Christ and God Is a private matter for each Individual. AAAAaagggh. Actually, that's better than what you get from this piece of crap. What a waste of my 1.5 hours. Summary should be rewritten to include the "god message". This movie would be fine on Vision Network or some such crap, but it has no place on SciFi or Space. There's no science fiction - it's Anti Sci-Fi with that stupid god message splattered throughout. Acting so bad it can't even be campy, effects that don't make any sense and a plot we've all seen or heard before - which nobody with half a brain would sit through had we known what was coming. The only reason I watched to the end was in the hope that a tsunami or lightning bolt would wipe them out in the end. No such luck. Everyone who has wasted their time - even one minute - should join a legal action against whoever created this trash. Deserves zero votes. Not even a "Rotten Tomato".

I'm fond of movies that are quite poorly done. Especially the low-budget ones, such as this near-gem. The special effects of the ground cracking open were fine. However, those of snow falling on the Mexican forest while the temperature also fell and fell were unusually terrible. Not only didn't the snow cling to leaves, but it didn't even melt on them. Nor did below-freezing temperatures affect the vegetation itself. I'm too old to have any more kids, but were I to have a son I'd name him Stock Footage --- in the same spirit as Rip Torn. There was a fair amount of that, too. And the acting was at best so-so. So, ordinarily I'd give this the IMDb equivalent of a C-. However, 2012 Doomsday supposedly is a Christian movie. It tries to combine Christianity with the supposed expiration of the Mayan calendar cycle next December. It teaches that the Last Judgment can be diverted, postponed. It teaches other things that Jesus warned Christians of in Matthew 7:15-20. Since in 21st Century America most people don't read the Bible much, this movie … by the examples it portrays … could lead viewers to believe that they're saved when they aren't.

‎"2012" movie. Yes it is. Only one remark. Maya Indians knew about the greenback emissions ? Man, they have scheduled the end of the world on the 21st of December 2012 ! By strange coincidence on the the 21st of December 2012 expires the 99 year rent of money printing machines of the US Mint by FRS from the US government (1913). Oh, these Maya... 15 trillion debt, world full of green toilet paper with no golden reserves, goods, or services to cover, line of wars waged with one aim - not to let the financial pyramid fall, thousands of murdered civilians overseas, nation brainwashed with the war on terrorism, NDDA act, military dictatorship pending...The authors of the movie obviously wanted to say "People, it's not the end of the world, things could be much worse, like boarding on archs for 1 000 000 000 000 Euro a ticket". Pray until it is too late !
