I rented this movie to watch by myself because I figured my wife wouldn't be interested. I figured it would end up being a movie with some crude or sexual humor, and a bunch of attractive women. The attractive women part was right on. But as far as the whole tone of the movie, I was way off. This had some intelligent humor, and some good romantic story lines.I could clearly see why alot of MALES have rated this pretty low, they were probably expecting a spankfest. This would definitely qualify as more of a chick flick, especially geared towards the girls that like the emo boys, the ones that wear their hearts on their sleaves.I was impressed with the story, and the quality of the acting.

I really loved Eight Days a Week, and I really liked 100 girls, but this movie is very close to the top of the worst movies I have ever seen list. I have no idea what they were thinking with this one...seriously. It was just...inexplicably BAD. Avoid it.

Almost flipped past this one because I thought it WAS 100 Girls at first. This is a cute date movie, nothing more. It has almost the same premise as 100 Girls, with a guy hanging around a women's boarding house, getting to see all the different personalities of females while pining for one in particular. I didn't really buy the ending, and I thought they spent too much time on the setup, then resolved the major conflict in 10 minutes. Plus the "secret" surprise isn't really well hidden, it's even more obvious than who was the mystery chick in "100 Girls". Still, it's a cool flick, I say check it out with a lady friend, she'll probably like it.

Girl Fever was on TMC 12/3/03 and even TMC thought it was 100 Girls. If there's ever been a poster child of plagiarism its Girl Fever (2002). The story line, characters and story progression follow the well performed, artistic and well thought out story line of 100 Girls. Despite the feeling of being misled by TMC and the writer/producers of Girl Fever (2002) I did enjoy the movie. The acting was good, jokes delivered well and characters interesting. However, through out the whole movie I could keep from comparing it to 100 Girls.I have this on my "To Buy" list if only to compare it to 100 Girls when I get that movie and probably watch it 100:1 (Girl Fever (2002)).Thats my review and I'm sticking to it.
