I love this show even my husband like it. I've watch every season 3 times already I can't wait for the next season. It not only has romance women but it has comedy for men and women. I got so hooked I had a marathon and was up for 36 hours. I will be watching all the seasons again I'm sure. Please don't cancel this show, I want to see more Gabby and even Elliot.
... View MoreI started watching this series from season 1 and wasn't expecting much since Young and Hungry wasn't that great of a title to go with...Though now I have to admit that it was really nice...I mostly liked the relationship between Josh and Gabby and throw in their one night stand on the first day they met, made the pilot all the more interesting, throwing Josh's fiancée into the mix made for a very entertainingly second episode...Season 1 delivered and season 2 did too...For the ones who haven't watched..I'd recommend it as it will crack your bones...and leave you young and hungry...as the title suggests...
... View MoreFirst-off, Young & Hungry is a shameless knock-off of 2 Broke Girls but it lacks the sharp edge of 2 Broke Girls. I find myself watching Young & Hungry because it is a harmless, feel-good piece of comedic fluff. The characters are quirky and like-able. The sits of the sit-com are funny.BUT ...I have actually worked the jobs depicted in this series (private cook, cleaning staff, etc.) and these jobs SUCK. Often being a private cook means sacrificing your own social life to work split shifts and generally be available on nights, weekends, and any other time the employers are having a social occasion. Add to that an incredible amount of stress b/c I have never met a quirky likable millionaire like the boss on this show. If I block-out the reality of working as domestic help for the uber-rich ... I can have a few mindless laughs and pretend its all in good fun. I sort of hate myself for liking this show at all ... but until 2 Broke Girls comes out with their new season ... it's all I got.
... View MoreWithin the first 2 episodes it's CLEARLY evident that this show is NOT appropriate for families. She sleeps with her new boss the first night she meets him and then helps him, his maid, and assistant hide and lie about the fact from his fiancé. This is NOT family material. They make light of the fact that he cheated and they got away with the deception. ABC should be ashamed of what they are calling "family" programming. I will NEVER watch another episode of this show and may even steer completely away from their programming if this is the kind of garbage they are promoting. First impressions are key. If you are going to show a program and claim that it is family related then don't portray adultery as if it's not a big deal.
