Wheel of Fortune is an American TV game show over at CBS wherein contestants solve word puzzles for cash and prices by spinning a giant carnival wheel. It has been hosted by Pat Sajak and Vanna White while Jim Thornton acts an announcer. The game is based on Hangman and each contestant tries to guess a consonant or buys a vowel and turns a rouelette-style wheel mechanism that contains cash prices from $500 to $900 and with top prices ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 or expensive prices such as trips or expensive items. The show has been on-going for almost 40 years now as this review is written. The show is definitely one of the most exciting and entertaining game show at night time. Despite the fact that it probably has little educational value compared to other game shows and no major changes have been made since the digital puzzle has been used in 1997,the show will still provide delight to the viewer.

When I was growing up and always close to dinnertime on weekday evenings (as that was the timeslot), I always turn on the television and watch this show without fail. If I have to say about one of the very earliest shows I watched where it introduces me to understand more of the English language, this has to be one of those.I mean naturally when I was still very young, I don't even understand what the usual three contestants are trying to guess, or what 'Buy a vowel' really means, I just know it's always so full of excitement and the prizes are already enough to envy anyone. But then it's interesting and often funny at times I always remembered about Pat Sajak and Vanna White. These two people had been appearing on the show from the first time I first watched this as a very young kid.Slowly over the years, I did not watched it often as I do but then if I have the chance, I will watch it. But since years ago, it was taken off the air from the local television screens and I really wondered why. I mean, given the excitement is always there actually.A game show that is not to be missed.

I have loved the Wheel of Fortune show, ever since Chuck Woolery first hosted it with Susan Stafford as lovely assistant; It was a joy to sit at the television and challenge your skills. There have been many changes to the show's original format, but it still is wonderful to experience a victory solving the bonus puzzle.Pat Sajak and Vanna White are a great team and make the show fun and exciting.Miss White is sparkling with her personality, and Mr. Sajak has a warm mannerism about him that you can trust. What is amazing is that this show is like the simple game of hangman!I think it is remarkable how a popular show came about through a child's game.I really Love It.

My grandma is a Wheel of Fortune fanatic Me and my sister tune into this program often it really is cool. Here's how the game goes three contestants compete to solve a mystery puzzle. a person, thing phrase, etc. One at a time each if the wheel is spinned and he or she lands on bankrupt he or she loses all of his or her money. Then at the end of the game the winner spins a wheel and picks a prize if he or she gets it correct. First Pat Sajak says 6 letters RSTLNE and has Vanna White put the letters that go to the word on the board. Then the contestant must come up with 4 letters including 1 vowel. And if he or she doesn't get the answer in time they lose the prize and he or she gets the money they've won so far.
