Unforgettable is a very special series. There are a lot of police series, but none is like unforgettable. Carrie Wells walks into her own memories. This is very cool. She solves a lot of murders with her partner All Burns. Together they can solve anything. They have a very special attachment so the series is not only about solving a murder. The series contains tension, grief and humor. This is the best combination ever. It's also very cool that you can think with Carrie and All. They tell you every information they have and in this way you solve the murder together. Unforgettable is my favorite series so I recommend it to anyone who likes a tension series with very special elements.

Really wish there was a yo-yo notifier, almost missed this season 'cause I kept looking for it on CBS. And the Web wasn't much help - if I just searched the title all I got was a bunch of non-specific crap. Finally tried DTV's search function (where I should have looked first) and discovered, after Thanksgiving, that Unforgettable had jumped to A&E. This series has a really confusing history: canceled, resurrected, canceled, resurrected, canceled and picked up by A&E. Thank God.Producers of TV series really should put up independent Web pages so you can track their series. ABC, CBS and NBC's sites are little more that cyber cheerleaders. Same can be said of the Independents.Rant aside, I loved the first and second seasons, not so much the third, and am bowled-over by all of the episodes so far in 215/6. Where the first and second seasons were moderately paced and somewhat laid-back, which I enjoyed, this season is an explosion of energy adeptly expressed through script, direction, framing and editing. I've rarely seen a show put together this well and it's a joy to watch. Elementary matches it sometimes but nowhere near Unforgettable's consistency.Hope the show attracts a large audience so we don't have to do the Yo-yo thing again.

I have watched the first four episodes of the show on the new network, and cringed watching Poppy Montgomery over smile, overact, over try to be "cute and sexy". All she is pulling off is the feeling you are watching someone who feels very comfortable and secure enough with this role and job to be unchecked in this role. Having seen her in other shows, I think the director is letting her do this. She needs to be reigned in. I have seen her in interviews and she is almost playing a hyped up version of herself to me right now. It is NOT working. I like her, and she is the backbone of the show, so they need to get the tone right. I feel like they are all over the map right now, testing out what will work. It will be interesting to see the ratings on the new network. The show feels contrived and clunky right now. She is way too ebullient and it is jarring. Also the plots are boring and super predictable. Dylan Walsh does the best he can, but I got the feeling he was not feeling it as much either. The spark is not there. Also what is with the new detective, he is terrible! Kill him off ASAP. That is not a fit. Then this guy who pops up as her ex husband? There is some muddled and weird sexual tension they are trying to add that is not working. Now suddenly our main character is a big sex pot who sleeps with everyone? So Dylan Walsh is her faithful puppy dog? Always there for her no matter what? That has been strange. Bring back Jane Curtin. I do not care for the new coroner. The premise for this show was cool but this reboot needs some serious work. It is just another police show now, with the gimmick of her memory not being used very well. UPDATE- The show is canceled. They just never quite got this show right.

Average acting, uninventive writing, monotonous story lines, forgettable characters, unrealistic concept and a waste of time. This show is the single worst thing I have ever watched on TV; every week it's the same, some impossible case that has them flummoxed. Then miraculously with about ten minutes left, (coincidently convenient) she suddenly remembers something that solves the mystery. This show has the most formulaic plot week by week you will ever watch. Watch one episode, which I still don't recommend, and you have watched them all. Average acting doesn't help the show, so there really is nothing that makes watching this show worthwhile. Don't let the ridiculous concept of a perfect memory fool you into believing that this is anything but generic.
