I really wanted to like and enjoy this series. The idea of the series is a great idea but pretty horrible without Jason Statham. But the reason he left the series was for a good reason, so no fault there. The fight scenes are not that well correographed and no where near what the original Transporter movies had in every fight scene before. And during any scene involving anyone firing bullets at the Audi, no bullet holes show up; neither on the car or the windows. The acting is "okay" at best. Or in another scene where there is clearly rain, yet the Audi didn't have a drop on it in the same scene.

This show is one of the best action series at the moment. It is something different than every show on TV. We have cop shows, we have military shows, we have drama, we have comedy, but nothing like this. I believe this show would get a lot more viewers if it was not ran on Saturday. TNT does not have a great line up during the winter months or I would not even tune to TNT. I wish all you guys to watch this action pack series. It is eye locking from the time the show starts and makes you hold on to your seat till it ends. If anyone does not think so than obviously your taste is TV is terrible. Since a lot of shows are ending this year this is a perfect TV show to fill the needs of the ones that are ending.

If you are not looking for a deep storyline and just want honest-to-goodness and shamelessly shallow action, you'll like this series. It does not apologize for being "standard", "cliché", or any other derogatory epithet thrown at it. It's just a straight-up, old-fashioned "good guy kicks ass and gets the girl" kind of show. And that's perfectly OK with me. At the end of a day working hard and studying hard or even on a lazy day-off, I don't necessarily want deep plots and Shakespearean epics, I just want brain-dead, no-holds-barred entertainment of the action and suspense genre. And the transporter delivers (pun very much intended)! Heck, just the hot babes and bad girls are well worth the price of admission! :-)

How very terrible. Simple. Sophomoric. Terribly written. Episode 1 was like high school play, but that does a disservice to high schools. Episode 2 made it to early college. Episode 3 was back to high school. Talking about the lead security guard's double DDs was demeaning and totally unnecessary. I loved the movies - why couldn't the writers have built on a winning concept. This show could be good but I think its too late. I'm sure it will be canceled by Episode 6. The lead is no Strahan. He is goofy, too many smiles. All that was needed was a bad guy with an edge and a heart of gold. What we got was a man of no character and no ideals. Basically, he's a jerk. Don't think men or women like him. The plot is one dimensional, linear - just one story per episode. Car stunts aren't bad. Combat scenes are not up to the movie standards. I am SO disappointed!
