I've read a couple of these reviews and wonder how many were based on JUST watching the pilot. It takes a couple of episodes to get going and when it does the humour is there, several out load roars. Arthur's neurosis in the first couple of episodes is annoying, but there is reason and his character grows beyond it, stick with it. The Tick is wonderfully played and is so childlike.... The Terror is a scream. I haven't seen the Patrick Warburton's version so my view is not clouded by memories of the previous versions. My review is based on what I've seen.

This show has a great storyline, mixed with constant humor, which plays off of every character, situation, plot aspect, and so forth. I'm very excited for the continuation of this show!!

I saw the pilot. It didn't work, then I watched the series based on some recommendations. The first episode borrowed form the Pilot, but it was much improved. Much sharper and faster paced. The Pilot - (now Episode 0), 4 out of 10. The series, so far (I'm 4 episodes in), 8 out of 10. It's worth giving a try for any tick fan. More lively than the Warburton version and much better villains. Worth a look.

It's not too dark, it's not too shiny, it's not too stupid and it's not trying to look too smart. It's perfectly balanced. Loved it! Anyone who read this, please do whatever necessary to make this series continue as it is. This can be the best thing that ever happened on TV. As it seems the entire first season was just a prologue and I can't wait to see the rest.
