I really enjoyed this show. The plot is really good. You have to like the genre of magic to appreciate it. Which I do. Every episode is good. Characters change, like we do. New characters arrive when needed, keeping the plot roling. Too bad it only has a season (not enough people followed the show to make it for a second season). But his first season, is really great. A lot happens in just one season, in the best possible way.

Usually when you hear of paranormal series like this you automatically assume that it's about Vampires and Ghosts. This is about witches!!! I am highly interested in anything in the paranormal genre. Somebody needs to continue writing more with the witches setting. Paranormal is my favourite subject. I was shocked the writer's left the ending the way they did, assuming there would be another set/series added to this. Hopefully, they come out with more. You can't just leave your fanbase hanging, but other than that would highly recommend this series. I saw mine on netflix. Michael Graziadei, from the Young & the Restless he did an excellent job as usual!! I will be patiently waiting for more from The Secret Circle series.

I believe it is too late now to save THE SECRET CIRCLE. Too much time has already passed, so much momentum has been lost, the cast might already appear quite different from how we remember them. What a shame! This could have gone on and been an even bigger hit worldwide. Instead we are left with a mere... CULT FAVORITE! So I won't complain. Less people know about this jewel of a show as it's been overshadowed by that vampire show preceding it in the USA. So there are loads of people who just didn't know what they were missing, poor dears. Big problem here is that our favorite is not ever gonna get released on DVD. I've seen it mentioned on the Net that it was released, but that must have been a limited run for believe me, I've done my utmost since Dec. 2012 to get this on an official DVD but had to settle for pirate stuff - well, what else could I do but take that grotty route? It's a superb show with Britt Robertson a yummy leading lady, and a great supporting cast, especially Phoebe Tonkin, not forgetting Shelly Hennig and Jessica Parker Kennedy. I must agree that there is a midway slump. Naming the exact cause of this, is oddly enough not coming to mind. But that is not the point. I'd much rather watch this than some of the same old, same old stuff getting released on DVD for the boring herds of sheep grazing on regular sheep stuff. So come on Warner Bros, yeah we know you're the one we must pester till you comply! We want the Circle saved onto DVD! Or we could get Faye to turn you all into toads! Now there's an appealing idea!I wonder what people the world over will have to do to get to see it if they haven't done so yet, because last time I checked on the sites I frequent, there were just snippets there. And Amazon just says "sign up to be notified when product becomes available" since last year.All in all, a great show. One that deserves ten times better treatment than it got. But will live in the hearts and minds of late-evening watchers forever
