This was a wonderful T.V. Series. I don't understand why everyone dislikes it so much. It's a good family program that teaches family values and kindness. I think many people dislike it because they don't completely grasp the concept of black entertainment. I'm biracial and I have a view of both sides of my culture. When I look a movies that me and my friends enjoy like Stomp the Yard and Daddy's Little Girls and see what low rating it has, it makes me angry. This is a show that many preteen girls can relate to and I seriously don't understand why it has such a low rating on IMDb when there are average ratings elsewhere. Overall, I would recommend this cartoon to children of all races and ages.

Usually when someone makes a show the tend to have the audiences that are watching to be the same age as the main characters. In this show the main characters are 14, the show is rated G. Every single episode they end it with good thought about whats right and giving and caring, but no 14 year - old who live in America is like that. The show tries to make you laugh but fails miserably. And if the stopped making episodes then they should stop showing re - runs and take the show off television. Overall it's really bad and the least bit interesting or entertaining, but what could you expect from a family Show? (family meaning the family channel, and all of the family channels shows suck).

Sweetheart,NO ONE stuck a gun to your head to make you watch The Proud Family. That's why there are hundreds of other channels you can be watching. The Disney channel was geared towards kids and families who try to steer clear from the "skankiness" of sex TV and the violence. I do NOT like anime, for two reasons 1)there's no black characters on and if it was, most likely the black women would be portrayed as "ho's" and overweight "bitches" and the black men as "drug dealers" or "criminals" 2)That anime crap has way TOO much violence,case in point this anime that comes on the Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network about this boy with a golden bat who goes around beating the S*** out of every innocent person. YOU call that worth watching?!! Sweetheart, GET A LIFE and a JOB!!! and stop being a slacker,the 90's are over!!

I have watched the show and it is actually pretty good and delivers a good sense of humor to what can be important issues. The episode I saw had penny and al roker,he was some kind geni or something.Any way,she wished that the to children she was watching would grow up, well...they did, but they were old than her and did what ever they wanted to do.So by the end of the episode penny wished for everything to be as it was before the "wish".The show has it's moments that are funny.Did I mention KYLA PRATT gives her voice to penny,KYLA is so fine, But it's still a great show for kids of all ages.
