In response to Mike Garner, the Great Gazoo went back to his planet in the second to the last episode in season 6. The episode is called "My Fair Freddy."As for Pebbles and Bamm Bamm; the show is easier to watch now then when it first came on. I guess I'm getting older. I do remember I didn't care for it then. They made Bamm Bamm out to be a coward. Not strong and brave like when he was a baby. Also even though Pebbles and Bamm Bamm were older Gobbie hadn't grown even though he was a kid when Pebbles was a baby. But that is cartoons for you. They age when you want them to or stay young for ever.

35 years on, I can honestly say the only appeal to this show is Sally STruthers as the voice of Pebbles and Jay North as Bamm Bamm. It just makes for a fitting combination.Strangely enough, the show doesn't have any hippie feel to it; it is more American Graffiti (which didn't come about until two years later), with hamburger joint hangouts and hot-rod races.Odd that the cartoon wasn't considered a clone of Scooby Doo, with Pebbles (Daphne Blake), Bamm Bamm (Freddie Jones) and Penny (Velma Dinkle). The big gripe at the time was that it had only been five or six years since The Flintstones went off the air, so how did Pebbles and Bamm Bamm age so quickly, but then Lisa Hartman became Tabitha Stephens in less than ten years after Bewitched went off the air. Don't think she was the right age either. But never mind. 35 years on. My, my.I still recall so many adventures, and clearly some of them were from these future Pebbles and Bamm Bamm - Flintstone hours or whatever they were.Having recorded several of them off of Cartoon Network, two that always stood out for being good or bad, were Pebbles thinking that Mrs. Creeply had taken Wilma's birthday present.Love those cuh-RAZY disguises. Barney, what is wrong with this younger generation! And "Golden Voice" where Bamm Bamm can sing (?) but only when he is in the show, then he keeps getting medinical cures and repeats himself or talks like he has a frog in his voice, or has been inhaling helium.LIke all those Scooby Doo clones (Speed Buggy, Captain Caveman, Josie and the Pussycats, Funky Phantom, etc.), if you just can't get enough of the Flintstones from their six year primetime run, then venture toward these efforts."You'll see Fred and Barney too, yabba dabba doo, on the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm show!"

This is just another example of why in most cases that spin-offs of most classic television series don't work. The thing that I didn't like about it is the fact that Bamm Bamm, who when he was a baby was the strongest boy in the world, is comes off as rather wimpy and let's Pebbles talk him into a lot of her hair brained schemes. Also, the supporting cast was pretty much a carbon copy of a lot of the cast in the various versions of the "Archie" cartoon series. And the plots for many of the episodes of the were so stupid that it is no wonder that it only lasted for one season. However, when "The Flintstone Comedy Hour" premiered the next year, the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm shows were absorbed into this show.Another thing that gets me is the fact that Pebbles and Bamm Bamm went from toddlers just five years earlier to being teenagers while Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty and Mr. Slate never seemed to age at all.

Let's face it: Hanna Barbera always sucked at spinoff shows. Granted, I liked the "Wacky Races" spinoff shows, but the "Flintstones" spinoffs were TERRIBLE! And this show is an extreme example on how bad Hanna Barbera were at spinoff shows involving "The Flintstones".First off, Pebbles is so annoying! I hated her on this cartoon, and Bam-Bamm became a major wuss. Wasn't this kid the strongest baby in the world on "The Flintstones"? What the hell happened to him? Couldn't tell you. The other friends that Pebbles, and Bam-Bamm have are annoying too. Sure, Fred, Barney, Wilma, and Betty appear on this show, but even they CAN'T save this garbage. The bottom line is that this show just totally sucks, and it brought "The Flintstones" franchise to an even bigger low point (even lower than when Great Gazoo appeared on "The Flintstones."). This gets a 0/10.
