On our road trips, my wife has been reading aloud "The Last Templar". She started it on our trip around Michigan. We are not even half way through and it's an excellent novel (my opinion). It holds the interest and you can't wait to take another road trip to continue. I found the movie. Recommendation - don't watch. The movie opened at the well, not the when the Templar knights were fleeing the city that was overrun (no biggie). Then jumped to New York the way the book did. It looked like it had promise. But, 5 minutes into the movie, Tess turned into Wonder Woman (BTW her mother and daughter weren't present as they should have been) confronting the bad guys with a golden staff. By 7 minutes in, I deemed "this sucks" and shut it off. I had planned on watching up to the point we left off in the book.... no spoilers; but I just couldn't. It was that bad. —

The movie is made up carelessly. Scriptwriter and director don't know anything about Turkey and Turkish people. Turkish people don't look like an Arab, the license plates of cars is not like in the film like another countries; Rasoulis is not a Turkish name, Mediterranean Sea doesn't have such waves, in Bodrum there is only flora and sea not a desert. Deserts shall be in Arabic countries but NOT IN TURKEY. Bodrum is a touristic coast town which has luxury hotels. In Bodrum there are not camels and people who warping scarfs on their head. The film is only made up for grove up a bad view for Muslims and Turkey, by poor brains

Dear Americans! Turkey is bordered by six countries: China, Italy, Canada, Afghanistan, Morocco and Uruguay! We are speaking Chinese and using Cyrillic alphabet!Turkey is encircled by "deserts" on three sides and using camels for the transportation.Per capita income in Turkey below 13 dollars.Turkey has border problems with Japan, and it looks like another war is about to happen.Don't waste your time with this movie.I would watch Titanic again, before I ever considered watching this.

Please be aware that the scenes stated to be as "bodrum-turkey" is not real Bodrum. Bodrum is one of the well-known touristic places of Turkey with beautiful sea and forests. It is not a village in the middle of middle east or north Africa. On the other hand, the language spoken and stated to be Turkish does nothing to do with Turkish. So as a result, I believe that producers, directors and actors of this film should have made more investigation about BODRUM since it is one of the most beautiful places on earth and Turkish language which is one of the oldest languages spoken on earth. Please search for Bodrum/Turkey on internet and you will see that this film is unfair to Bodrum and Turkish people.
