"Crow: Stairway to Heaven" was one of the best television shows I have seen on television. With his role in this television series, Mark Dacascos, a young and refreshing actor, proved he was not just an action star who survives by starring in no story action films.Dacascos branches outside of what he is used to in order to play a reincarnated soul of dead man brought back by a crow in order to set things right after his girlfriend is killed. The ongoing battle of good vs. evil continues as Eric Draven is brought back to life to set things right.Dacascos is great in the television version of the film that would turn out to be Brandon Lee's last. I couldn't wait for each week to come because it was a unique series in which the writers came up with great new stuff to write about for each episode. I enjoyed how the series went back and forth between the current world and the way it was when Eric Draven and his girlfriend Shelly lived in happier times.Everything about this show from, storylines, music, and setting scream HIT!!!!! From Mark Dacascos to the supporting cast which includes the police detective whom he helps out by catching criminals; this series deserved to be seen.

I saw this series only a handful of times. I tuned in because I heard the extraordinary Bobbie Phillips was going to be on. I thought her character was wonderful-she played it perfectly too! I watched for the next several weeks (of course hoping Bobbie would be on). Some of the episodes were interesting, others forced me to change the channel. I think after Brandon Lee in the original, it's hard to continue with the "Eric Draven" character. Bobbie's character as the VERY FIRST FEMALE CROW would have been more original and interesting to continue the story of THE CROW.

I hadn't seen the movie, so I was unbiased when I turned on the tv. I had never seen the series, but I instantly liked it. The stories are good, solid. There's action, there's humour (at least, I think so...), in my opinion two very important ingredients for a tv-series. The relationships between the characters are interesting as well. I can only conclude that the show is entertaining. Very entertaining indeed!!

I saw the UK release of this video, I felt it had some great moments but also some really terrible acting.First off, I feel that this series must be treated as a separate entity from the film... More of a 'what if' than anything else. By looking at this way I feel that Mark excels given what he has to work with. The true star of this show is the girl who plays Sarah. This role is seemingly made for her. In her own way she saves the show.I think, overall, that there are some real problems that need to be looked at... More night filming, better bad guys and better script writing would have made this better. But its still fun to watch(Oh, and the UK version has a completely different cover)
