My husband and I thought this was refreshing, fun, well-acted and well-written. I was totally surprised to find this so wonderful. I am woman-of-a-certain-age white suburbanite female and this was just purely appealing and delightful. So great to be set in Detroit too -- I like that perspective. And to those reviewers who didn't get the point of this -- I say there was once a very successful comedy about nothing . . . called Seinfeld. Amazon -- please tell us when we are going to get more of The Climb !!!!

I could totally relate to this young woman when I was in my twenties - not having a clue at times. Looking forward to seeing more of this young lady's climb to the top. Also, her best friend is a friend you would want to have. I am intrigued by the whole idea of her trying to find something that would make her happy in such a possession driven world.

The show is firing on all cylinders and allows us into the mind of the aspiring socialite. It used a lot of Detroitism & was on point with our witty and unusual culture in the D. I very much would like to see where this story goes. They also stayed true to the game by adding Urban Glam Legend / Icon Jessica White as Copper Lewinski. The Co Star & list of characters held my attention. Amazon cut the check this show is Lit!!!

The Climb is about..... I wish I had an answer. A lady who wants to become something I guess. The pilot was a big steaming pile of not-so-funny incoherent actingscrement, uninteresting dialogue that really doesn't say or contribute to the story, some semi-funny 'puns' and of course some light racial humor, because that is 'hip' these days.Normally I don't really rush to judge but this was a veeeeeeeeery poor scrip, the acting so-so, the characters not interesting and very very flat.It seems more and more content is needed, and thus more and more rubbish like this is needed. If you look for a silly simple comedy I would advise 'This isn't working'.
