First season of Switch girl, and here are my thoughts: an easy drama to watch, but the concept wasn't executed that good. The manga concept was all over the place, but the girl was pulling it of so well that it didn't look cheap at least. The whole switch personalities was funny at the beginning, but the drama focused on the pretty character's romance rather than the comedy part, and that just ended up being one of those rom coms that obviously repeat themselves. The rude girl story was okay, but the teacher drama was odd and kind of idiotic. Still, it's an easy drama to follow, with funny characters and an okay love story.Second season of Switch Girl and here are my thoughts: even though I'm a Japanese rom com otaku that probably will watch anything that was based on a manga, had a school concept and Kento Yamazaki was in, still, even I found this one idiotic. The one and only reason that I'm not giving this one one out of ten is because of the leading lady, who was spectacular. I mean, I imagine it's not easy to pull off that character and not appear fake and silly, and she managed to make it look natural. BUT, the cases were silly and extremely odd, and the whole rape thing was kind of insulting at some point. I mean, they used it as a threat and practically everyone wanted to assault the girl. I understand cultural differences and all, but still, it was too much. Finally, the funny character stopped appearing and the romance was okay, even though the whole thing was based on the thrilling moment when those two will sleep together.
