The discontinual of swat-kats on cn has been a big disappointment.Back in the day when i was in elementary school, all the kids i knew(the whole school) used to discuss swat-kats n show off our action figurines with the same enthusiasm today's toddlers display for pokemon n dbz.Had swat kats been made a regular it would have achieved cult status in no time.Creativity was abundant with the swat-kats team. Wish cartoon network persuades its creator to create new seasons of the programme as it is their trp's that would be boosted in a big way by this move.Let's face it.The swat kats rocked.I would watch re-runs today even though i remember every episode n dialogue clearly. That's the magic that many of today's animated show's can't recreate n swat kats could.PERIOD.

View MoreIt was around, I think late summer, early fall last year, that they were showing Reruns of this cartoon on Boomerang, and because I saw something rather familiar when I saw my sister watching it, I decided to watch too, and I couldn't believe it, a show that I used to love as a kid, a show that I had forgotten so much about after all these years, A rush of all my memory just fills my mind. I decide to watch to see if I will still like it, or if it will turn out cheesy and be one of those "I cannot believe I used to like this crap" scenarios.I watched, and I loved. This is definitely an animated show for almost all ages to enjoy, it is not at all childish, but then again not so risqué either. It's just perfect. Sure people, or shall I say Anthropomorphic Cats are shot at, killed, beat up or blown up, its not bad for kids aged 8 and up. The Animation is well done, It may come off as one of those American shows that tries to be an anime, but it does so with honor, it's something different and I really do believe it deserves to be adapted into an animated film. I love this show, I love the Characters, and most of all, I love that kickass Turbokat fighter jet that T-Bone & Razor fly. This is not a cartoon: It's a innovative piece of animation... supirior to Thundercats, I can't believe it was not as successful!
... View MoreSwat Kats is probably one of the best cartoons of the century ... If compare it to all action shows on cartoon network it still would be the best. It was a masterpiece of work in every aspect. Just mentioning Hanna-Barbara, means we have that old school everlasting sense of "fine" animation and sound so unlike todays "modern" 1-5 color cartoons with some walking talking squares and triangles who usually appear as freaks, sissies or pimps, with some rather moronic roles. Swat Kats had OUTSTANDING action put together by - good sense of moral, valor, fantasy, mystery and humor. And the excuse of violence they used to stop the show was so miserable. If we look at todays cartoons they even dare use sexual propaganda freely, turning kids into the well known "pigs" that you can encounter in some bar. Swat Kats deserves huge RESPECT for making the whole show interesting while NOT pressing on "Duh Slang N Shitz/Lingo" and still be able to keep every episode a thrill ... Even if you don't like action cartoons or cartoons at all you still cant deny the pure sense of SUPREME quality that Swat Kats offered compared to other cartoons. About what was the cartoon like i don't need to tell you better see for your self (:
... View Morei remember this great cartoon and its tight theme song as well.back when i was in middle school everybody loved this cartoon.it also had great depth for a action cartoon and i sorely miss it a lot.they just don't make good action cartoons at all.well not like these anyway, this is back when cartoons was off the shizzele.this was one of Hannah Barbara good cartoons back when they was making current more modern darker cartoons.its the type of cartoon thats smart and not dumbed down like todays cartoon. i wanted that jet...badly, so i can live out my Top Gun fantasy. I remember in this show they turned off it's engines to fool a heat-seeker...then dived and restarted it's engines...damn!
