I really enjoyed the first two series, but........................ now we have series three with loss of DS Winter at the end of series two we now have, wait for it an new female boss. What is it these days that all crime series have to have a stroppy female boss? No wonder boys of today are under achieving when they see what's in store for them, mental castration. It's all slow brainwashing,

I just watched E1 of S2 and I am done with the series. There was background music playing for most of the episode, which was distracting and tiring. It might not have been too bad but it was way too loud; even during dialog, it was the loudest sound coming out of my speakers. I dropped the volume way down and turned on CC to watch the episode, but it is just not worth it. If they dropped the volume 50% and had more stand-on-their-own scenes, I think this show could be OK. I agree with lots of points in the other reviews, both good and bad, but I think the show itself is maybe 6 stars. Just can't watch it anymore.

I was slow to warm up to this but now I'm a big fan. The detective story is intriguing, the developing partnership between Harry and Siri is a bumpy ride and very believable. I love the cast, James Nesbitt is strong as a superhero, a family man and a flawed man. The setting in London is awesome, we in Canada see so little of that city on TV. Actually, I love the whole United Kingdom aspect, once my ear tuned into the accents. The bracelet story is great, imagine anyone could be given this power and how they use it would be different for everyone, Harrys superpower is not necessarily permanent.... Oh! And I LOVE that theme song!
