We've seen celebs (I use the term lightly) try and learn how to do everything else so yes, why not have a show that tries to teach them how to dive.It really is poor. You get about one dive per advert break,the celebs in question aren't exactly big names and even the audience wooping and cheering for everything doesn't help. Do we really care about the technical terms for the dive - no.ITV has stuck with this show for two series despite massive critical mauling but while it's a good opportunity to see Tom Daley as more than just an athlete,this is a pretty weak attempt at doing so. Vernon Kay as host is probably the only thing that makes the show a little more like a credible ITV Saturday Night show.
