The people who wrote praising reviews are either a sandwich short of a picnic or have a vested interest in this shows success! But that said, writing reviews that it's good when it really isn't is just a waste of time because the script writing is just so poor, the characters by & large are just not believable ! The acting then follows suit but then when the writing is this poor what can an actor do about it ? If you have seen Extras where Andy Millman is railroaded in to changing his show in to a farce, well this is maybe what happened here ! I am amazed that SKY have picked this up to be honest. League of gentlemen was dark, Psychoville was dark ! This is just juvenile

Nearly got to the end of episode 1 of series one. My mistake in watching this, I thought comedies were supposed to be funny or have I missed something here? Once again a programme that is over hyped and featuring a top cast but totally fails to deliver on so many levels. One thing missing...... the comedy. Not sure about a sick note. It needs CPR or better still kill it off before series 3 appears. Can't believe they agreed a second series before the first was was out on air There againit was probably the only way to get a second series. If you want to see comedy done well watch Big Bang theory,Ttwo and a half men, Blackadder, Dads Army,or Fawlty Towers. If you want to know how not to write comedy watch this.

I have just watched the first episode of series 1 and I can see that some people will like it a lot and others will loathe it. Rupert Grint is really good in it and Don Johnson is a revelation (I never liked him before). The script is good and I found it very funny - sick but funny. I like the way that the black actors are used in it - their race is totally incidental. A very enjoyable and promising start to a series.

This is a funny, well written and acted dark comedy. The development of the characters is very good and it moves along at a good pace. If you like boring sitcoms you most likely will hate it. Well worth watching Frost and Grint are at the top of their game. Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz did a great job on this show, looking forward to any future productions that they make.
