I liked the show overall. The story revolves around a group of doctors serving in Sacred Heart Hospital. In all the seasons, it kept the balance between the comedy and seriousness of the issues dealt by the doctors. One things I didn't like was extending the season without any specific story and not giving it proper ending. At the end of season 8, it seemed like the kind of ending that could work perfectly for this series but I don't understand why authors felt the need to go for ninth season and didn't even bother to end it appropriately.Overall it was a good season and I liked watching it.

Throughout the 9 seasons of fun and laughter, J.D. and his colleagues manage to surprise us over and over again: Perry's witty 'Coxian' statements, Brown Bear Turk's eccentric guy love with J.D., Elliot's hilarious insecurity blunders, the Todd's inappropriate high-fives, Carla's Dominican impulses and the janitor's stories make Scrubs a series worthwhile experiencing in full.

This series is easily the best i have watched. It is a blend with humor and drama, which makes you cry as hard as you laugh. Thats something no other series has ever done. I watched the whole series twice know and still enjoyed every single second of watching it. And at the end there is always a life lesson that makes you think. The sad thing is that, like much other series these day, they ended the series in a way that makes you think : "WHYYY !?". They made 1 season after the head-actor left and that was something that i thought was stupid. Still we love you Bill Lawrence, and of course the brilliant cast. And to all those who didn't watch it already, do it. I promise it's worth it ! Greatings from a huge fan !

A comedy about a hospital? Oh well I have seen the Doctor At Large series and thought I knew what to expect: Was I wrong. This programme is not totally a comedy and it lacks the one irritant on most sit-coms; a laughter track. That is what makes this show stand out from all the others. The characters are funny but also serious in that they have 'real' lives and problems and, all too often, tragedy. I mean, people die in this program! The main characters, J.D. (Zach Braff), Elliot (Sarah Chalke) and Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) are all very funny and apart from that, Elliot is so hot you may burn just looking at her. Doctor Cox, their mentor, is acerbic and sarcastic to a fault but underneath it really cares about the interns in his charge. The hospital boss, Dr Kelso, is the exact opposite, measuring everything in terms of money but he, too, has a tragic side and deep down despairs when the system lets down the patients in his charge. Other characters such as Jordan, Carla and the creepy Janitor combine to make this show the success it is. Watch the day to day growth from intern to Doctor and you will learn to love (or hate) the various characters. One thing is for sure; you will never look at a hospital the same way again.
