It was awesome to see things in reverse perspective yes there were moments it gets confusing but it was easy to follow. The is pretty dark and very morbid some of things you see will make you feel sick to your stomach which is another reason the show is great you feel what the characters are going through.

The first few episodes were difficult to get through, due to the unique story telling format. However, after a few episodes things started lining up and it became easier to follow. The more episodes I watched, the better the story became. The ending was a good twist. The show required you to really pay attention and piece it together, not a typical lazy dramatic crime thriller that we've become accustom to on both network and increasingly on cable networks that spoon feed a contrived story and plot to you. Definitely not the typical lame snowflake millennial crap that seems to be taking over television programming.I would watch a season 2, or other similarly formatted show.

As it went on I cared less about getting to the end/beginning, clever it maybe but an effort to watch.

as i said in the summary - don't bother. there are so many other series that actually make sense. even Hollywood ones. i love British crime series because they look real to me. this one is ridiculous. after deciding elaine was the killer while watching episode 3 i just wanted to see if i was right. gave up at episode 5 and just checked on net whether i got it right. crime series are my favourite and i can't remember seeing one where the victim is actually the head of investigation. i understand the backwards timeline because the thing is so damn lame it needed a different approach to make it fly. otherwise - pure, sincere, boring garbage. gave it a 2 due to dormer's makeup, otherwise it would have been a straight 1.
