I stumbled across this on our local streaming service and was immediately hooked by the premise, the setting, the music, the style, the atmosphere, the psychology, the story and the acting. One of the best shows I've seen in a long long time. I've just found out that a second season isn't being made (this should definitely not stop you watching this though, just one season is totally worth it). Please please please please find a way to make a season two.

OK, I understand why many people may like this series. But with so much great television and a desire to minimize tube time Quarry will never make the cut.At 50 years I demand that old racial tension baiting themes that have been a brutal and pointless drum beat since I was 6 and "Roots" came out have lost any ridiculous charm in the half century... the BS must end. Unsavory low of lowest hanging fruit. Lets move on with fresh material or racial harmony... I am over-saturated.All films or television with racial subjugation are now over-exploited, seriously boring and maybe quite harmful as a society that needs to unite. I want to escape! And not be beaten or bored with non-sense of poo stirring stupidity.

How DARE they!! This is the most exciting show on cinamax. The LEAST best they have is "skinamax" geesh. This show is AMAZING! Get a grip and gain some girth! I thought it was worth to keep paying for this movie channel but apparently not. The show is awesome. If the producers, directors and actors stop fighting the story was NEVER worth it. However, I give my most honorable plaud and salute to the writer. Outstanding job and two middle fingers to Hollywood politics.

Quarry is an amazing TV-series about aftermath of the war in the member of group who was involved in Vietnam war.The principal character "Mac (Quarry)" return at home from Vietnam together war teammate "Arthur" from meet with his wife "Joni". A few day ago, a stranger person appear in Mac's house called "the Broker". This person will request a "little job" to Mac. That is the beginning the story line...The cast is lead with a sublime Logan Marshall-Green complement with a great supporting how Jodi Balfour, Nikki Amuka-Bird... and a special brilliant Damon Herriman is playing a homosexual, bipolar and crazy character. Delicious.The narrative also is very good beginning, in the first scene, with a great flashback and each chapter the story line will go joint the pieces.The Series shows very sexual and violent scene, pure HBO so this is an adult TV show.I remember this series to the seasson one of True detective, it's a similar environment also it's develop an couple of areas on the outskirts of the city of Memphis.The worst of this show is sometimes the scrip and some chapters very long...The last chapter is sublime with an amazing shot sequence!! It is the best scene of the 2016 Finally, I highly recommend this show because is a hide great-piece of 2016, from Cinemax with love!
