Couldn't make it past three minutes of the show. The main character is an undercover spy, who is also a folk singer. One of the first scenes of the series shows him busking on the street corner, detailing specific names and places of undercover operations that he has done. I turned it off right after that. I was laughing for like five minutes straight. It's not a comedy, but it made me laugh harder than any comedy ever has.

The writing, directing, acting, original music, humor, chemistry...all of these things made me care about every one of the characters in Patriot Season 1. I've watched this entire season 3 times and I will watch again before season 2 is released. Only Breaking Bad has captivated me and made me care about the characters this way. Thank you everyone involved in this show - it's truly one of the best I've ever seen!

I'm really enjoying this show. I didn't know what to expect because haven't heard about this show before.The only thing it keeps me distracting it's that they insist on showing Prague best-known bridge and saying that they are in Luxemburg. If you don't have the money to film in Luxemburg it's ok, but not use one of the most famous bridges in the world (Charles bridge)and keep saying it's Luxemburg. Initially, I thought it was my mistake and didn't see when they move to Prague. It's distracting and the key showing it a few time by chapter

Probably the best writing and story telling of a TV series in a LONG time. This guy, JL, just barely stays above and ahead of total disaster, but he does it with such a calm demeanor. Great acting, great camera work. Please please keep it going. It's so witty. So dry. Just a great piece of work. I'd love to be as calm as JL is when he's staring disaster in the face....what a guy! And the brother.....wow!
