the story in one piece is creative,thoughtful,smart,not boring at all and mostly adult. I love the animation in this show,it is beautiful. This show is also not boring. if you watch it the first time you will say to your self"WOW"! the soundtrack is also very very beautiful. it rocks if you are a teenager!

I had always wondered what this show was about since a little kid and one day i watched 3 episodes and immediately got addicted i always wanted to know what would happen next. If you're judging the show by its animation you shouldn't be, it has a wonderful and creative story which can get nearly anyone to keep watching. It has many creative settings and characters each with their own dreams and beliefs. The show starts to really get good after the water 7 arc. Some characters can be very goofy and the show's the pacing is very slow but that doesn't really matter since it has a very compelling and amazing story and attachable characters especially the main characters Overall i really recommend this show if you want something fun and interesting and if you do want to get into it. you will have to watch 5 a week day and 10 on weekends to catch up to where it is now..

My son challenged me to start watching One Piece this summer after I purchased the video game Burning Blood and never heard of the show. I watched and thought that it was a show that I would have little interest in being an adult. Boy was I wrong. I started watching and the story made me want to know what will happen to these characters of playful pirates. I recommend this show to anyone of any age, race, or language because its themes are universal and you can relate to the struggles and triumphs of the characters and long to see if they will reach their ultimate goals. I must add that I started watching episode 1 in the mid June and couldn't stop watching to the point that I am fully caught up to episode 755 and it is September. I recommend watching the TV specials, Arcs, and the movies are phenomenal in creating their own tales that go right along with the show.
