Loved this show from the very beginning - they have the cast perfectly selected. It's so refreshing to give a great script to young fresh actors. The ending of season one absolutely killed me - please bring out another!!!!?

This series is amazing. The cast is beyond stellar with their portrayals. I don't know a lot about LA gangs or life in LA inner city. Just what I see on TV news, current affairs and shows. This one (On My Block) tempered the over dramatic with moments of humor and reality.I hope to see both the actors and the writers (and production crew) if not outright winning awards, getting nominations. Congrats to Netflix for purchasing it, Please bring season 2 quicker than you do with other shows. :)

The show started out great living on planet earth. For some reason the writers felt like they had to go off the wall towards the end of season one and absolutely lost me. Most of the stupidity revolves around Jamal. I think they're mostly all fine young actors but the writing does not do them justice. There's only so far my brain can stretch. I'm happy for the people who love it. I watched the whole season so I'm not giving in ignorant opinion. Watcher beware. There are much better shows out there.
