The only interesting(and real) thing about this show is that moonshine is legal, a subject that they will never bring up. Bad writing, bad acting, bad show.

An interesting (although shallow) look, into the production of Moonshine. Although there is a lot of talk about the heritage and dying art of making moonshine, it's obviously the (repeatably labeled 'TAX FREE') money, that is the primary motivation for the moonshiners involved.The shows strongest asset, is its many likable personalities. However the desperately bad attempts by the producers, to edit the show into suggesting, that the moonshiners are constantly on the verge of being caught by the police, really sticks out and make the show seem more like another bad run of the mill reality show, rather than what it could and should be: A honest depiction of the life and challenges, of modern day moonshiners.
