PLEASE MAKE SEASON 6-10!! It would be amazing!!I love that its a clean show to watch, no sex scenes or nasty language, we watch it with our children and we all love it.We love the brotherly romance between Merlin and Arthur, the father and son bond between Gauis and Merlin. We have fallen in love with the show and the characters. However, season 5 was just not enough. I am also a Supernatural TV show fan, I prefer Merlin over Supernatural. Please Please Please Consider making more seasons.

The only reason I gave this one even 3 stars was the CGI and the costuming. The writing is terrible. The premise is a total insult to pretty much all the major characters. All magical creatures and beings they encounter turn out to be "evil" in some fashion as well as pretty much anyone with any magic other than Merlin. Most of the major characters lack any redeeming character traits except for a couple who are servants, one of whom is repeatedly abused and treated like garbage despite being supposedly very powerful and saving several people. There is a great deal of sexism, and inconsistent behavior on the part of several characters. The fact this series lasted more than one season shows that some people will pretty much watch anything with some visually attractive characters, violence and CGI.

Oh Merlin. Four years since I finished my last re-watch and you're still breaking my heart. You are quite terrible in many ways, with some of the cheesiest special effects I've ever seen on television, and some of the cheesiest writing as well, but your story captured my imagination like no Game of Thrones has done. The friendship/romance between Merlin and Arthur is almost unbearably lovely and the characters of Guinevere and the knights still haven't left my heart. There were moments of absolute brilliance in this little family show elevated by beautiful acting that still resonate and stay with me after all these years. I would go through it all again.

What a fascinating show!! I loved Merlin, his magic powers, humbleness, and his commitment to King Arthur and Camelot. A dynamic relationship with King Author, with much humor and surprises - unlikely between a servant and a master. Above all, a servant at heart but with the most power to love, serve, and do the right thing. One of the nicest shows on Netflix!
