First off, there are times where its really easy to just hate the animation style, and there are times where you feel like your watch the spectacular Spiderman, which isn't good, because its very unbalanced and all the characters have very similar features, theres quite a lack of uniquethen the story, the story is fine, we don't need repetition, I like that miles Morales is there, the overall story is classic Spiderman: Peter Parker is a student, trying to balance school life with being Spiderman as well as maintaining his friendship with harry Osborn who's father is the CEO of a huge tech organization and secretly is out to get Spiderman for thwarting his secret criminal activities and for research The problem is not the overall story, but with the events within the story, a running theme in spiderman is that Peter Parker is the genius amongst his friends, there, literally EVERYONE is a genius, even HARRY!!!! and while this is not a big problem, it takes away one of the things that makes him special.another thing is that while I'll applaud the show for being more serious than ultimate Spiderman, I feel that it should lean towards spectacular Spiderman, and have more personal and dark storylinesthe action sequences, like the animation style, can be static and boring sometimes and spectacular Spiderman-esque in others. this is a problem because its always leaving me wondering whether or not I'll enjoy any episode I'm watchingoverall, I appreciate the creators efforts to distance this show from other Spiderman shows, but I don't think the end results is quite what most Spiderman hoped to see

This show is definitely not what Spider-Man needed to be redeemed from Ultimate Spider-Man series, but in ways is just as good or maybe a bit better. Unlike Ultimate Spider-Man, this show is a little more serious and yet not as creative in design. The character designs are pretty simplistic and almost every character is just a slightly different replicate of the other. One thing this show does have, is its ability to take things pretty serious for the most part and still stay true to a high school version of Peter Parker. Some major issues that I have concern for is staying true to it's source material. Everything that happens and is placed in the show is from some form of comic, but not in a way that will please the fans of Spidey. Some of which includes Horizon High and Peter getting transferred from Midtown over to there for school instead (happens in first 2 episodes). There are other minor issues like that, plus the character development is either too weak or too fast-paced, at first. As this series progresses, you get to understand each character and get more and better development from the characters. Some other character arcs I feel were pushed too far in advanced or just too predictable, especially if you are a fan of the comics. What I mean is there are characters that you may know to develop and become a villain later in the show. The good thing about this show is that it is enjoyable and really embraces and focuses on Spider-Man at it's core rather than universe building. Don't get me wrong, there is some of that, but its not as forceful as Ultimate was. It definitely almost feels like Disney is trying to look at Spectacular Spider-Man and their Ultimate series, and they are trying to take the good from both. At first I failed to see any success in that, but as you delve deeper into the series, it really pays off. You get a lot of unique story arcs and lesser known characters and villains making their debut and it's more exciting than I thought. Still not a "Spectacular," "Ultimate," or "Amazing" series, but for just being labeled as a basic Spider-Man, it really is pretty basic.PS: Ultimate Spider-Man did not live up to it's name

I reviewed Marvels Spider-Man on October 5th and I gave it 4/10. Now that has all changed. Look I have seen both Spectacular Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider-Man. I enjoyed them for what they were but even though I still prefer USM over this show. I think it is time for the majority of the Spectacular Spider-Man fans who are stupidly complaining about this show to grow up and except the fact that the show is not coming back it's in the PAST!!! It's owned by Sony! Moving on: What I really like about this show is that it focuses a lot on Science. I you can even learn a thing or two about science like in the Man-Wolf episodes when they were working with Dr. Banner for a cure to cure the infected episodes and in the Blizzard episode when Harry and Spider-Man worked together in the Osborn academy school. Okay I have to admit that the first couple of episodes are cringe but after that it becomes a watchable show and even has the use of more up to date technology like I-Phones and watch communicators which kids of today have. This show is defiantly good for the next generation of Spider-Man fans who want to have a scientific adventure with there favourite hero. As I have mentioned on my Avengers Assemble review "Just be happy with what you have got" instead of just having such a high demand for something that won't come back. However I do still feel that the show needs to slow down more since it still feels rushed and some of the character designs for example Gwen Stacy and Rhino still need improving. But hopefully it should grow an improve as the show goes along. Some of the changes can be a bit of a let down in the show but the advice I can give is unless if it is Teen Titans Go! don't let nostalgia blind it is still an action show with real fight scenes. P.S. The Screwball episode had good humour. (Edit 29/04/2018): Also check out The Rise of Doctor Octopus episodes and the Spider-Island episodes. This show is even better then the crap that Cartoon Network and DC have today for example Teen Titans Go!, Justice League Action, Ben 10 2016. (see my reviews). As I have said before this might not be the best Spider-Man for everyone but it's good for the next generation. For the nerds who are still demanding for Spectacular Spider-Man hate all you want on this show you will NEVER get Spectacular back. You can keep rewatching the show billions of times, keep making petitions on change.org which won't do anything or make complains on the internet, social media or send emails or letters to Disney and Marvel all you want. But that won't change the fact that this shows is here and it won't leave anytime soon. I am not going to force to watch this show or anything as were are individuals beings who can make up our own decisions but I would give you the option to either enjoy what you have got at the moment or just keep living in the past for a show to come which is not under Disney or Marvels control to bring back but Sony's. The chooses. After all you all wanted Ultimate Spider-Man to end for 4 years and now look where that has got you. I am only going to say this to finish the review off. Don't let the haters stop you from watching this show. You never know you might actually like it. Sign off.

Peter Parker, a new student at the famous Horizon High, fights evil super-villains as the costumed superhero, Spider-Man. Our favorite Web-Head returned this Summer with an All-New adventure "Spider- Man:HomeComing" but that was just the beginning he has also been resurrected in the TV side of things and after a bit of a rocky start this show has really grown on me i actually saw 11 episodes back to back and although the first 5 were kinda so so and full with some dumb humor choices and some new looks for favorite heroes such as Black Cat, Scorpion, Rhino and Dr. Octopus that didn't really impressed me that much everything suddenly changed when Ep.6 titled "Sandman" hit the floor and totally blew me away with a "Spider-Man 3" sort of plot since then the show became more fun with incredible action set pieces and great teamwork plus i gotta say i really like Miles Morales as the 2nd Spider-Man his friendship with Peter and his alliance with him made the show even better than it already got. Iron Man also showed up at one point and Vulture was once again handled with greatness. It has problems like every show and not every episode is amazing (like i said the first 5 weren't that great) but i gave it a chance after chance and it didn't fail me and although i know that some of you won't agree with me and it's fine by me i mean it's your opinion just give it a chance okay? It's nowhere near close to 1994's Classic Spider-Man but it's not a total failure either cause sometimes we have to respect the Past and Embrace the Future.
