Worthwhile roller coaster ride through a family and a young girl's coming of age through passages she was denied due to terminal cancer. It's pretty fast paced, brightly lit, hollywoodish, youthful depiction of the idea of what happens when a girl suddenly gets her life back when she and all who knew her thought her days were definitely numbered. It shows the backstory of a family stressed to the max for 8 years thinking she wasn't going to make it, and then all the broken places come out. It depicts a bunch of people hard-struck, and the hits keep on coming as they suddenly are navigating new waters they had despaired of before. Having worked with terminally ill people, the backstory as well as the unfolding of the primary love story seemed based in authentic humanness. What was very interesting was how often the characters hit into places of not knowing what to do, and finding their ways through. It grabbed my interest and the characters were likeable enough to keep it along with the story line finding out which way they'd all go. I liked the end and feel like the story is complete in these 13 episodes. The show had life as they all found life anew.

This is my first ever review on here. I love movies and tv shows. I checked this one out because of Lucy Hale, I followed her from PLL to this show. The show has an 'ok' storyline. The actors did a nice job playing their roles. I just didn't like one of the characters, they got away with doing things that some people couldn't, shouldn't, or wouldn't get away with IRL..meaning they got off way too easy for what they did. In the end, give the show a chance, cause you'll never know......

Love it so good, so sad it got cancelled. Such a good show and different from others, a nice story.

First off the couple is close to a break up & then decides having kids will fix their relationship?! The guy gives up his dreams for stella because a job isn't important to take care of your future baby? Yup its that stupid. I was happy to see stella & guss hopefully break up before this episode because the audience saw that stella didn't love Guss the same way back. But now that there trying for a baby when they can barley take care of themselves.. Stella character never shows up for work, but still keeps her job, she can't even drive herself to work. But she can take care of a baby? These elements in the story make it unreal. As well as the mother & father both fighting over the same girl? I'm okay with the fact the mother is bisexual but the father & mother both fighting over the same girl to have sex with is really too far.. sad to see the show started off so good but went down this boring storyline.
