Cant stand listening to his long drawn out political rant every night. Not as bad as Kimmel but sometimes just awful! He was once a funny guy, to bad he went down the political trail, its hard to find decent entertainment today.I still record the show, only because I can fast forward through the rant.

Carson was absolutely bad, and Letterman was incredibly painful, although I do believe he had a following. Fallon is atrocious. He leaps around and fills the show with the band banging and twanging. It takes ages to bring out his guest, which wouldn't be so bad if he had any funny one-liners to say. Doesn't he have a writer. He needs one.Are there no funny people left out there. I can't believe a TV network would pay to put this on.

Jimmy Fallon is a kind person, fair to guests, polite, and engages in oddball humor with the help of audience and guests.Honestly, it is difficult to sit through at times because his jokes are quite "unique" and his sense of humor seems to be more of an outreach to farce, as if the audience was humor impoverished and St. Jimmy is here to keep trying until someone, anyone laughs. He has an anxious delivery, seems unable to control his own set and props, and often seems uncomfortable. He is truly a likable person, it is just he tries so hard, and martyrs his own comedic style and wit for silliness.Silliness has a place, and Saint Jimmy is in that place, working and struggling and laughing like the rest of us.

Jimmy has a good sense of humor which is emerging more effectively over time. This is especially evident in the sketches/videos they produce on the show and his acting in them. He has a good sense of cultural parody which you can't say for SNL recently. He has parodied Twilight, Real Housewives, and The Hills, and it is funny. He is not only a talented actor and a happy guy; he also seems to have a bit of musical talent. I also loved his grad students on Spring Break sketch and many other bits that they do, even though I detest the Lick it for Ten and Moustaches Wrestling type stuff. And of course, the Roots are a very cool and creative band even if this is mentioned every five minutes on the show. Their Friday night improvising thing really impresses me and they often have guests play with them. Also, Jimmy has rapport with most of his guests because he is a nice guy. He might be nervous and diffident but that can be charming. He seems to be buddies with everyone including the Roots and Higgins, etc., which gives the show a friendly feeling and seems to help everyone collaborate. Shows where clever people get along with each other seem to produce good stuff and I expect this show will improve even more. People should give him a break! He is not Conan but he is nice, straightforward, and yes, I will say it, funny.
