I love this show! And this newest season was hands down the best!!

Love,love,love this show. That season went by way to fast. Can't wait for the next.who new zombies could be so lovable?

The first season of this is a bit weird takes a bit of time to get going it kinda starts out like its a serious crime show but finds it's self as we go into season2.There's a million and 1 serious zombie movies/shows i roll my eyes like the old vampire days but as we come into season2 the show really finds its self a bit of comedy. It is to walking dead as shaun of the dead is to dawn of the dead. Our main character Liv does an orphan black stylee of acting as many different characters why'll still being herself.David Anders as Blain makes an excellent villian, Rose is fun and refreshing to watch. As serious as Major and Clive are the more serious characters they're comedy timing is excellent especially when interacting with the show stealer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi.I really recommend this show tho it does play at as a bit of a comedy it has a solid plot running through it and after the first season which has a lot of filler episodes that dont really advance the plot, that hardly happens in the seasons to follow.

Everything about this show is remarkably created. The writing, the filming, the acting. All the actors are amazingly fitting to their roles and the storyline just blows me away constantly. I could never expect this much from a "zombie" show but this is least typical zombie show you could ever write. But not only is the drama aspect of the show beautifully written, the comedic lines are also HILARIOUS. The occasional fourth wall breaks work so smoothly into the context of the story and all the pop-culture references are subtle enough to enjoy without it being too on the nose. Each character also holds so much depth. Liv, who has to take on the characteristics of each of the victims whose brains she eats, while maintaining her own sense of self, Ravi, who provides a wonderful comic relief yet demonstrates such a strong sense of loyalty and seriousness when necessary, Blaine, who is trapped in this morally ambiguous cycle as he somehow becomes a better person and stays his pretty awful self at the same time. These are only a few to mention. iZombie is genius, to say the least. I'm in love.
