I watched this show while I was videogaming, in the background, most of the time just hearing them talk without watching. After a few episodes I realized it wasn't worth all my attention. First season of 12 boring episodes just to see some action in the last one.The story is okish and could've been better. It's more interesting from season 2 tho still not a great story line, a bit ridiculous in my opinion. The end is just bad. Major fail with the gypsy speaking romanian and not their own language, it's not like all gypsies come from there and now Romania doesn't only have vampires/upirs but werewolves too. I didn't understood why the characters acted the way they did, very confusing and abnormal. My favorite character was Dr. Johann Pryce. He deserved better. I think it was a good idea but the development didn't worked.

why Hollywood and all the Americans think of Europe as a country and about Romanian's that are all gypsy, history hint we are not...Gypsy come from India not Romania.Europe its not a country so before you do a movie or start talking about something learn some history. People that make fun of a beautiful country that has many smart people like Victor Babeş has invented penicillin,Ion I. Agârbiceanu: designer of the first gas laser,Ana Aslan: inventor of Gerovital and many more so please stop with this things about Romanian being Indian gypsy.

Two bi-curious teenager boys team up and are unable to make one intelligent decision between the two of them. This continues for three seasons. Don't ask me how I know this. Anyway, despite the generous helping of gore and breasts (neither one being a problem) there are way too many obvious contradictions in an already flawed script. So, if you're around twelve years old or younger and manage to bypass the age restriction lock your mom may have put in place, it should be like, totally awesome... If you're older, the only other conceivable reason to watch this drivel would purely rest upon the hotness of Famke Janssen.

When I started this show, one word came to mind: Bizarre. But I had to keep going. The acting is phenomenal, especially Bill and Famke. There characters were so broken inside and complex. I also love the friendship between Roman and Peter. I don't know why some people were hating on this show and comparing it to vampire diaries or true blood. Hemlock Grove was it's own show! The special effects could've used some work but it didn't bother me other than that. For the people that say this show is sexist and demeaning to women... they don't know the full story! I say give it a chance because it is well worth it. However, I didn't like the finale and think it could've ended differently.. especially for Roman.. he was one of my favorites. Some scenes are slightly disturbing and make you wonder if you should turn away.. but you can't!! I give it a 9/10
